Magnetic Whiteboard

Terrific lightweight board to use. Mounting the tray is optional. Magnetic properties add to usefulness. I use neodymium magnets to hold up several cards under one magnet (multiple categories of cards hanging on board with no vertical sliding up to a point). It can also hold up a pocket chart loaded with 50+ cards (card weight = same as a playing card) using several (large) neodymium hook magnet (disclaimer: I tested only with grownup use, not the force of younger arms jamming cards in there). This large 48x36 board arrived quickly, and damage free. No scratches or dents. I am beyond pleased.

Writing goes on fine. Erases fine. The magneticness... magnetivity... whatever, the ability to work with magnets, is nice. I like that when mounted to the wall, the screws are hidden behind the tabs at the corners. Gives it a nice clean look. The marker tray is maybe a little flimsy, slides around a little too easily, but I don't really mind.

So we have a workout room that used to be an unheated porch, and the former bathroom window was closed up on the inside, leaving an ugly brick hole on this side. It was so hard to find a solution to cover up that space, and we chose this white board primarily because of its 30x40 dimensions would fit the space perfectly and that it could installed either long or short ways. However, the actual dimensions are 39 3/8 x 31 1/2, so we had to create a different frame and trim to be able to mount it in the space and have it look decent. It is very sturdy and made of metal on both sides and the corners are screwed in, not glued, with the aluminum framing which also serves as the track for the tray. We bought the Expo marker set, knowing from work experience that brands make a difference, and it does write and erase very well. It was well packed for shipment, directions were easy and the film on the white side kept it preserved until we were done with the whole process. Really glad we got it.

The media could not be loaded. It erases so good without any chemicals. I have windex by low key I didn’t want it in my room. With this soft towel it literally erases any remnants of marker. Very happy. Much bigger than I expected but I love it. It will definitely last me til after graduate school and beyond. I’ll update in a year. But I don’t think much will change then.The assembly was good I’m just slow so it took me like 40 mins.I know my walls r ugly I swear I’m going to paint them soon 🤧

This is an excellent board. The value for the price we paid is definitely where it needs to be. It's very smooth, and cleans easily. The frame is sturdy aluminum. It comes with installation hardware, which I did not use. I felt that the drywall anchors it came with would not be as sturdy as the ones I prefer. After installation, the little plugs that hide the screws were quite loose--in fact, one would not stay in on its own. I just took a bit of tape and put it underneath, which holds them in well enough. The removable aluminum shelf mounts easily, but seems a little flimsy--the mounting method, not the shelf itself. That being said, it works well enough, it's just not full-length like some others I've used.Overall, I'd recommend this board. It does what it was intended to do, for a good price.

Update, the board is pretty much perfect. Markers write beautifully and erase just as well. The last board I had lasted 20 years and would no longer erase. Here's hoping this one lasts half that and I'll be happy...............I'll update when I start using this, but I could not be happier with the packaging this company provided. Probably the best I've ever received. There were so many symbols on the box to show it was fragile, the box had inserts that didn't allow the board to move, had cardboard protecting both sides, bubble wrap AND a plastic covering on the front. Highly impressed. As long as it erases like it should (I don't think that will be a problem whatsoever) I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for one. We use these for our homeschool classroom and I just had to replace one I've had since my working days, I think I got it around 20 years ago. I'll be happy if this lasts me half as long! As a bonus, the cardboard inserts & box will work great under cars for oil changes or kids could paint or draw a mural!

As I read the other reviews, it was apparent that the product itself was of good quality. It is a really good white board. Came with a protective film that was easy to remove. It is smooth to write on. No ghosting when you wipe it clean. I was super fortunate that my board arrived in perfect condition. It is packed very securely. I think when you order something of this size you just run the risk of it arriving damaged. Luck of the draw. Highly recommend this product.

Why didn't I get a big one of these before?!?!?I got this for homeschool, but I use it for everything! Verses to memorize, chore charts, packing lists, pictures, messages, and more.We got the really big one. It's awesome. Took a bit to get put up, but it's secure and we love it. Magnetic and erases well.We used the little brackets at top and bottom so we could get the screws into studs. It worked well, but wasn't clear in the directions, so we had to figure it out.
