The Elro FC5003 carbon monoxide detector ensures that you are alerted in time of the appearance of poisonous carbon monoxide gas. This gas is odourless and invisible, so undetectable without a detector. Carbon monoxide is caused by incomplete combustion and can come from a fireplace, water heater or central heating boiler.

This detector from Elro is equipped with a high-quality electrochemical sensor that constantly measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. The display displays the CO concentration. If the concentration levels are too high, the detector emits a loud 85dB alarm. Elro FC5003 conforms to European standard EN 50291-1:2010.

Installation

The FC5003 Carbon Monoxide Detector comes with the necessary mounting material (screws and dowels). This allows you to attach the detector to the wall quickly and easily.

Hang on the wall at a height of about 1.5 m from the floor. Also make sure to stay at least 1.85m from the reach of a combustion device. Note that the test volume is less than the actual alarm sound, as the alarm can be harmful to your hearing when you are nearby.
