UPDATE: I’m happy to say that this company exceeded my expectations. Not only did they ship out the missing part so fast that it actually arrived before my graduation next week, but they actually sent a set of all 3 pieces instead of just the missing part. Customer service was wonderful and eve provided me a separate tracking number for it so I could watch for it to arrive. The product is very good quality and the headband is actually very comfortable for those that might be concerned about buying it. Would recommend this product and this company to anyone looking!ORIGINAL: The outer ring was missing from my package and, as from the product description, the item will not work without one of the pieces. I had done so much research before buying this product, as there really isn’t anything that compares on the market. Now I am left scrambling to find something else that will replace it (even half as good) because the item is no longer in stock (they are in and out of stock depending around the day during graduation season) and there was not even an option to receive a replacement. So disappointed.

I bought several different types of these graduation Headbands. This is the only version that actually worked as it said it would. The insert in the cap actually allows you to tuck the fabric of the cap into the insert so that it doesn’t crush your hair down, and the headband keeps it firmly in place! The other types that just have a stick on patch threaded onto a headband don’t work at all.

This items was perfect for my graduation!! I gave it four stars because this item is such a great idea but could be improved. To make sure everything would be secure i actually put the cap on the plastic piece then hot glued the cap flaps to the plastic piece. I didn’t have to worry about my cap falling off, and i like how it sat on top of my head as if to float. The cap without the plastic piece wasn’t going to work due to my hair and because the graduation cap had to be made for a small child, lol. Im glad i bought this product and that my cap was one less thing i had to worry about!!

This was a lifesaver for my curly-haired kiddo on graduation day! The headband kept the cap secure without squishing his curls or messing up his hair. It fit comfortably and stayed in place through the ceremony, photos, and even the celebration afterward. I love that it was designed with natural hair in mind. Highly recommend for anyone with textured or curly hair.

awful. did not stay in the cap, the headband part would move around on my head and cause the cap to fall off. the fabric of the cap just does not fit inside and it looks very weird when folded.

The quality of the headband and holder was fine. It worked ish- the head band was not stable with the cap on and was constantly falling off. The headband also made the cap sit at a funky angle, I’m not sure if this was due to user error or what but ya. It worked as advertised but I didn’t love how it looked and how often it fell off- I ended up pinning the headband in place then it worked- probably would’ve been better on curly hair or thinker hair

My daughter’s graduation is coming up and she wanted to try this. It makes the grad cap less obnoxious to wear and doesn’t look funny. Already had people asking where we got it. Inexpensive and gets the job done.

I was looking forward to getting these in for graduation for my boyfriend and I. I have straight hair with curtain bangs, so I was trying to keep them from messing up, and my boyfriend has fluffy, curly hair. I read reviews about them being “unstable” and whatnot and I was like “oh I’m sure they’ll work for us.” They did not. They were very unstable and didn’t fit on our heads. It’s a good idea, but the execution isn’t there unless your hair will support it.
