Did the trick
Helped me feel extremely successful in making my wife's mini back into working condition. Didn't need to consult a mechanic in person and was able to find all the necessary information and instructions online. Didn't need to resort to solder either but I think it would be an even better addition to the fix if I have further problems.

Purple tightener does not move
Purple tightener does not move, stayed in place whole time and my fingers just bent the purple plastic, eventually weakening the bends and corners to where it snapped off. Wires are loose inside and have to resort to buying the same product off of fcpeuro.com for OE fitment. 2015 M4 coupe
