Fantastic knife for the price.
It's a $60 knife that punches well above its weight class. The action is smooth with good ceramic bearings. The button lock very fidgety and is also great for one handed operation, the latter of which was a big selling point for me. Appearance-wise it's very sleek and minimal (black handle with the black blade); exactly what I was going for. I wanted something that didn't look too aggressive or threatening since I would be using it in public often. The G10 handle provides a good grip. The overall profile is very slim which is nice since it doesn't take up too much pocket room. All of that comes secondary to the sharpness and edge retention because at the end of the day it is a tool. I've been using it daily with moderate use for work for about a month now and I can already tell that the Nitro V steel is great quality. Still surprisingly sharp after a month of cutting boxes, envelopes, and various other things without having to strop/resharpen. I may need to touch it up soon, but I am very impressed with how well it's performed. If you're looking for something that's great quality while being cost effective, I would highly recommend the Civivi Elementum II!

A New Take on a Classic EDC Knife
The Elementum II has the same basic design and blade shape of the original, with a few notable changes:- Nitro V steel: slightly lower edge retention compared to D2, but better toughness and corrosion resistance, which is better when working in wet or humid environments.- Button lock: mine had no lock stick or grittiness and was well-executed.- Width: The Elementum II is slightly wider than the original, which helps to fill the hand better.Overall, It’s a great knife with a useful blade shape with a reliable and smooth action. The deep carry pocket clip allows it to ride low in the pocket for a low profile carry.

Exceptional folder in every regard
We purchase a new blade, it looks perfect, only to disappoint us with little details that become consequential...The weight, The blade action, the clip... It's a never ending cycle. Maybe we put that knife aside, many of us have become involuntary collectors lol. When something really works, I'm talking after the honeymoon is over, it's an amazing feeling. This folder works! The weight, the different ways one can carry, the blade action, the blade steel. All the boxes are checked. The Civivi Elementum 11 lockup is solid. Action, while not "crisp" is excellent... If I wanted a fidget toy I would buy one! The blade steel and finish are also excellent. The price point for this knife is a gift. The quality control and presentation are such, one could well imagine the Elementum 11costing more than twice as much.I do think action could be more crisp opening the blade. The button lock has to be depressed quite a bit when closing the knife. The exterior finish is beautiful, but could use a little bit of a tactile offset. Something to create some friction when one is holding the blade. Ditto for the jimping on the back of the blade. The knife comes sharp, however the angle, the bias of the cut, seems a little off. I've seen this with another one of their products and might be a preference. it's not a big deal... None of these criticisms are... They're just points that one could perfect down the line. The reason I am not giving five stars is because things that are fixable would make this truly one of the best knives I've ever handled. But with that said, this life it's an incredible effort I would recommend it along with some of their other knives.

Oh boy, what a knife!
I just got this knife in today and color me impressed! This is my first button lock knife and I'm in love with it. You can deploy the blade either with the flipper, which is comfortable and works well, or by holding down the button and flicking your wrist for an inertia open. Similar with closing, hit the button and either press it closed with your finger or just let gravity do the work. The action is smooth as butter, and the knife is sharp enough to shave with. The pocket clip is fine, not the sturdiest clip ever, but it was tight enough to hold the knife in my gym shorts pocket while I ran some errands today.Sorry lefties, there's no clip on your side, but you can manipulate the blade otherwise as the button is easy to press with your finger.I really don't think you can go wrong with this knife. It's definitely going in my carry rotation!
