HTH 42051 Swimming Pool Care 3" Chlorine Tabs Advanced, Swimming Pool Chlorinating Sanitizer, 8oz

This is the best Chlorine I ever purchased. The fact that it contains Algecide, this is the first year I never had to treat my pool for algae or did I have to perform extra vacuming or scrubbing to remove the algae. It just did not exist.Broken pieces? Really? Yes it did have a few. I just put them in my skimmer to create the amount that would be a whole piece. Even the granules. At the end I just poured them into my skimmer.Excellent product I would recommend it.But now, why can't I get it delivered to my address when I tried to order it again?

Product performed as expected, I purchased a large container of this product after its excellent performance and at a discount price.

I find the packaging on this product misleading. In very bold letters on the outside of the package it reads "3 inch Chlorine Tabs". The implication is that there is more than one tab in the package. However, the package only contains one tablet. I suspect the word "Tabs" is not plural by accident, but is an effort by the manufacturer to imply the buyer is getting more than one tablet when the reality is the buyer is getting only one. I see this criticism has come up in previous reviews.

We have used this product the last 2 to 3 years in our pool. It works really well and usually last the whole swimming season (we live in Ohio so pool isn't used all year round). it does dissolve faster if we have super hot days. I put 2 at a time in our floater, try to check it everyday. when they are getting small I put them in the skimmer basket (after cleaning it out) and add 2 more to floater. we have bought other products and we like this one the best. our family lives close so the pool get used a lot. it does not damage any material and keeps the water clean and clear. My husband will add a bag of shock maybe once a month and, of course, you need to vacuum when needed (we get leaves, etc), but would highly recommend!

These aren't the same quality I knew back in the day. Many broken tablets, they seem to dissolve too quickly and didn't maintain the levels needed to keep my pool clean. I had hellacious algae problems - green stuff growing around the bottom walls and the water was awful. I eventually got that cleared up, used another brand of tabs and haven't had the problems since.
