EZGO Heavy Duty Forward and Reverse Switch Assembly (1994-Up) TXT Golf Cart

This was exactly what I needed.

After mine went out, I figured I should get a heavy duty one. Fast shipping. Just installed this the other day and it’s working great, so far! Easy to install!

works good, was easy to install. It is so hard to switch directions my wife can hardly do it.

Bought this to replace the original forward/reverse switch in my 2006 EZGO golf cart. The contacts on the old switch had gone bad, causing the wires to the motor to overheat (and melt) and draining the batteries. This new switch completely solved the problem, and fit perfectly. Definitely take a picture of the wiring before removing the old switch to make installation easier.

Item was shipped quickly and great fit, form and function. I have a lift kit and large tires on my cart and had heat issues with the old switch. So far I have not had the same issue. Great product, comes complete and had no adjustments to make on the switches when I installed it.

Anyone with an EZGO cart should just go ahead and replace their little light-duty switch with this one. Very well-made, with strong springs and large bus bars. It is not a question of IF the light-duty switch will fail, it is WHEN will it fail? (usually far away from the house!) Nice product!

Being a second-rate shade tree mechanic, I had qualms about installing the part. However, I made it with little loss of blood and it works. Cost was less than local shop, shipping was faster than advertised and part was complete with nuts and bolts. Can't get much better than that.

Installed several weeks ago and so far so good. It was an easy install and is exact fit/replacement for factory switch. Like other reviews, the switch is hard to shift between forward and reverse but that’s to be expected IMO.
