Outdoor & Multi-surface Dollies

This cart works very well for moving pots in an out of storage for the season. We tried other carts that were not built for the purpose of moving pots and they were a disaster. Landscape dollies we saw from other sources were at least $50 more and generally more expensive than that. We decided we would give this cart a try and it is a success! The deck is nice and large, and the pots snuggle right into it the concave back. No more of me holding onto the pot and trying to keep it from rolling off a cart with a flat surface and flat back while my husband pushes or pulls the cart. These pots are well secured and are moved with ease. And the cart itself is not too heavy. This is exactly what we were looking for as gardening homeowners who need to move pots in and out of storage as the season begins or ends, and occasionally to move full pots around.

It was this or a $500-$1000 plant dolly I really didn't want to spend that kind of money on. Ordered this with my fingers crossed and it paid off. I will never move plants around the same way again. Worth every penny and more. Compliments to the chef! Great design and affordability, utility, durability, and stability. I can't even begin to describe how much this tool saved me in terms of effort and cost. I'm am completely blown away and feel fortunate I found it, it's seriously unreal. If it wasn't for this awesome dolly I wouldn't have been able to move all of my plants out of our old house's property, it would have been impossible or at least much, much, much more difficult. I've never experienced purchase euphoria like this, I even kissed it. It's worship worthy as far as landscaping is concerned. I can't believe I used to try and lift pots and half wine barrels with my hands and wreck my body, pulling tendons in my arms and elbows, ruining my hands for days. I was able to do so much work with this dolly I'm completely flabbergasted. Such an amazing product!! Thank you, Rubbermaid!!!

As the title states, makes moving big heavy potted plants easy. The large wheels facilitate getting over threasholds etc. Stairs might no be so easy. We worked as a team. Others stated that there was a problem inserting an axle. Same with ours, December 2023 production. The welded tubing needs to have flashing removed. The sliding part that secures large trash barells might not be needed in some applications. One year later: The handle grips might slip off. Sometimes one may need to haul a load over a step or threashold, requiring tugging on the handles. The handles were attached with a rubber type adhesive. However, the plasticizer in the vinyl migrates into the adhesive and degrades it into a gooey mess. When putting yout body strenght into the cart, having a handle slip off may have negative consequences. I am 76yo and not exceptioally strong. This effect of vinyl attacking adhesives and other things is not an obscure effect. I have cleaned off the residue and will be trying a different adhesive. As the outime is not known, I cannot say which adhesive. This was reported months ago, perhaps there has been a change at the factory. We remain exceptionally positive about the product which is mainly used for moving plants seasonally.

This dolly is going to be used to help bring large potted plants into and out of our house. It arrived in a sturdy cardboard box and basically only has three large parts; the base and a two part handle. The wheels are attached with a large steel pin, a washer and a safety clip. The handle is assembled with 8 bolts, washers and lock nuts (3/16"). If you want the black part that appears in the photo at near the handle grips, that gets attached with 5 Philip head screws. 25 minutes to unpack and assemble because I was also watching a show on D-Day while doing this. It is built very well. I can't imagine breaking any of it. The wheels are very sturdy. The price is reasonable; in fact I would say it's a bargain. The total wheel width (outside to outside) is 25" if you have a narrow doorway.

This thing is amazing! I got it to move dozens of 20” pots and half whiskey barrels, and it handles them like a champ. I’m a 5’5” Asian woman and can move everything on my own thanks to this—total game changer. Highly recommend!

We LOVE this! We use it all the time for moving large plants/pots! We even used to haul and old water heater. It is strong and saves our backs! Highly recommend!

This makes the 55 gallon brute trash barrels practical for household trash and garden debris. I can load half a dozen Glad trash bags instead of two that filled the 32 gallon Brute trash barrels. The tapered lip of the platform and the geometry of the hand truck with the large wheels and the sliding latch to hold the rim of the Brute barrels close to the hand truck make moving heavy barrels very doable for seventy year old me. The big barrels are expensive but my time and effort are worth money to me. I move the big barrels over uneven ground in the garden area with some effort but it is doable where before the ordinary hand truck made this task frustrating and pointless. I wish I had realized years ago that making a task of drudgery easier that is repeated every week as long as you are not in a nursing home is money well spent.

I highly recommend this cart! Every spring and fall I had to drag heavy plant pots in and then out of winter storage. What a pain! Then I spotted this cart. Designed for the job. It's super well built. Heavy duty. The platform is designed to slide under pots, and there's a place on the cart to secure them so they don't fall off. Never needed to use it. This cart has made moving really big plant pots so simple. Thanks!!

I was looking for a way to move big rocks (200 pounds or so). I was very skeptical. But i took a chance. It turns out it is a very sturdy and well made product. Heavy duty and large wheels allowing me to carry the rocks to the desired destination. Use a crowbar to place it on the base. PS:Easy assembly. Would buy it again.
