Good net, but annoying
This is a review for Avlcoaky Fishing Net Extra Large Fishing Net with Handle Rubber Landing Net Saltwater Fishing Net Telescoping Handle Foldable Fish Net, Extends to 72.8inch, Holds 44lbs/20kgWhen I got this net I was excited, until I started putting it together. It took me a minute to realize that you have to have the collar screwed all the way to one side, because there is an insert in the pole that allows you to clamp down onto said pole. Then you need to screw on a cap once the pole is through the neck of the net. When we were using the net, it was annoying originally, because the net would spin while trying to reel in fish. It was so bad, that I considered pinning it in place, by drilling a hole through the collar and pole, and then shoving a rod through it to keep the net from spinning. We ended up tightening the heck out of the collar, and it works ok now, but if it starts the spinning thing again, I might go for that pinning option. The net itself is large enough to hold Northern Pike at 30+ inches. I am unsure of how much they weighed, but they were a good size.I am pleased with this net for now, but it was annoying to set up.

Not very sturdy!!
After first use the pole was bent and was almost impossible to close. For that price this net shouldn’t bend and be unusable.

Not very sturdy
This fishing net is not as sturdy as I had expected it to be. So far I am only using it for light fishing, like larger sardines and other small fish, but the net looks like it wants to bend out of shape and snap at the weight of a single sardine. I wouldn't really recommend this for anything larger and heavier, because you are bound to lose your catch on one of those attempts to scoop it up. It's more a decorative piece than a functional fishing net.

Very large net & solid handle!
This net is bigger than I expected it to be with great depth to it! The handle is aluminum and extends to a pretty long distance. The coupling sleeve you tighten when extended holds very well and it all feels perfectly solid for use with heavy fish. Now this thing did not come with any instructions on assembly so when I went to put it together I actually had a pretty hard time figuring out that the internal sleeve where the net attaches rotates to a loose or tight position. It's slotted to line up with the pole as well but you have to make sure you have it rotated properly to allow the pole to slide completely through it. Then you can reattach a threaded cap on the end to hold everything in place. Honestly it looks simple but it was confusing enough for me to think it was faulty so they need to include some kind of guidance. The net folds over to a half size with the press of a spring loaded lever. I'm a little concerned about the far end of the net as it seems the net could get snagged on and cut when folding and unfolding. The metal is all smoothed over to help prevent that but I can see some areas came with the net coating already peeling off from the one time it was folded to be sent out new. Hopefully the net material used is strong enough to put up with that and it is where the net loops over the frame, not the lower holding area of it. But I am just being kinda critical here, the overall build of this is pretty good and solid with a large netting capacity.

Great net, difficult assembly.
I love this net, it was made from good material and very well built. Its sturdy, handles well when out on a limb, and can hold a very sizeable fish. The mesh rubber net is very nice, easy on your hands and easy on your fish. It holds weight beautifully and haven't had an issue yet. The handle is a nice grip and good length.I had an issue tryin to connect the pole itself to the actual net and for some reason I still couldn't get it to lock up and not come out so I eventually kept spinning until it couldn't anymore and just to be safe I put 2 screws to ensure it will never come out because god forbid you load up big betty I that net and all of a sudden the pole and net separate I would be devastated but no matter I made sure it will always hold up. Its awesome it collapses because we all now the smaller the better when fishing and traveling with all your gear. I will highly recommend, nice net! I use in salt and fresh water and it handles the elements nicely.
