Review: Great puzzle for the elderly. - This size puzzle and the idea that it can be built back into the box has proven very beneficial for our elderly mother. The overall size is not so overwhelming for her. Even the larger puzzle pieces are more easily handled than the 500-1000 piece puzzle. Thank you. Review: Great for Seniors - Very beautiful colors. Purchased for my mom's senior living facility for afternoon activities. It is great because the pieces are large and easy for the residents to manipulate. It also has a nice number of pieces since attention span is a problem. Great buy!

Ideal puzzle for individuals with dementia
I have three of the four puzzles available. I would really like to have more. They are perfect for people with dementia.

A person with dementia wouldn't be able to take puzzle apart afterwards.
I've never had a puzzle made of this material. It looks like a firm foam, about 1/8 inch thick. The pieces are a little bit bendable, but they're quite difficult to take apart after completing the puzzle. I was thinking of this more for a person with very mild to no dementia, just an elderly person who wants a nice activity.... someone who handles their own puzzles, from putting together to taking apart and storing. But I think this is too difficult to take apart for an elderly person who might not have the best hand dexterity, and who may be confused by this very different material. So, it would be necessary for someone else to take this 63 piece puzzle apart -- and certainly not a person with dementia. Also, people should know that this is organized so that one assembles the pieces in a (very tight) frame. I suppose it could be assembled outside of the frame. I do like the images.

Gives them a sense of pride! While keeping their mind active
My 89 yr old mother worked diligently on this puzzle for over an hour. With just a couple of corrections she completed it all by herself. So proud of herself!

Perfect Gift for Mild to Moderate dementia
My mother in law has moderate dementia. These puzzles bring her so much joy because they are achievable and make her feel like there is still something she can do
