Awesome bit of kit, highly recommended.
Amazing bit of kit!. Connect this to a pi3 and using LibreElec, installation is very simple. I tried this using Kodi from a source movie that was DTS encoded and straight away the home cinema DTS lamp came on and the sound quality is no different from what you'd get playing the Blu-Ray disc direct. Can't believe this is available for the pi. With the pi3 and this, and the cases that are available on thingiverse (3d printed) you got yourself a very capable home cinema system for under a £100 when you add in the cost of the pi, SD card and PSU. Arrived quickly from France as well via Amazon. As an added bonus, if you have a Pi3 and a PS3 BD remote (i.e. the remote not the controller) then you have a fully functional remote control for your pi as well!

Fantastic hat for the raspberry pi. I’m using mine as a hires network audio player to feed digital audio into a dac. Sound quality is excellent and will support hi bitrate files

I am using the Hifiberry digi+ with a toslink cable connected to a Marantz sr6300 receiver with bi-wired wharfedale diamond 9.1 speakers. The sound quality using the moOde audio player is exceptional. I would recommend the digi+ to anyone looking to build a low cost hi-rez audio player.
