Calypso Once A Day Tan & Protect SPF15-200 ml

THIS is the best sun tan lotion EVER. I am a pale English girl, who burns as soon as looks at the sun! Seriously, on an overcast day, 15 minutes of gardening can crisp me. However, I've now used this on 5 holidays abroad of temperatures varying between 29°C-35°C, and not burnt IN THE SLIGHTEST. In fact, my partner, who is very tanned, was skeptical of this lotion, and used his normal lotion on our most recent holiday, and despite his normal lotion plus his natural tanned skin, he got burnt so badly he was peeling, and I didn't even go red whilst using this lotion! It's incredible! It looks like a yellow oil, and makes you shiny when you first put it on, but it does sink in with time. You have to apply 15 minutes before you go outside, and then you're done for the entire day! (unless you swim, in which case I would reapply once dry) The ONLY downsides I have found are: *that it is a bit alcoholly when you first apply (if you apply on face, do so with eyes shut until the vapour is gone, or they will sting mildly) and *that if you are damp in any way when you apply it can turn white/a bit bitty (like peeling skin) until it soaks in. So make sure you're dry when you apply. Just a further thought - it's supposed to also help you tan as well as protect you, and I would say that the only time I ever successfully look a LITTLE bit brown is using this stuff whilst on holiday, but it still will be dependent on whether you actually do have any melanin in your skin in the first place to help you tan! (I don't think I do! 😂) Other than that, this stuff works brilliantly!

Worked very well. I normally use one twice the price and it worked just as well. Sinks into skin and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I’ve also used it on my face without any problems. I’d definitely buy it again

I have been using this sunscreen for about 5 years now, and never burn when using it. An alcohol based gel that doesn't leave your skin feeling clammy or sticky. It goes on smoothly and sinks in quickly. I only use this product on my body as I dont like the alcohol based gel on my face as it makes my eyes water.

I’ve been an ardent user of P20 for years but this caught my eye as it’s half the price. Having read all the reviews my husband and I decided to try it for our holiday in Egypt and I can only reiterate what everyone else is saying, this stuff is fabulous, it’s every bit as good as the more expensive brands, we haven’t burnt at all, the smell when you first put it on dissipates after a couple of minutes and it doesn’t leave yellow stains on the hotel towels! Try it, you won’t be disappointed 👍😁

Used this over the years good quality start of on higher factor reduce to this.

Gel evaporates quickly and means it really doesn't go as far as a traditional type of cream... it can be easy to miss bits due to the rapid evaporation of the product. (Even when applied indoors.. has quite a pungent alcohol smell as its being applied. Glad I didn't rely on this to get me through a holiday.
