PIBEX Rock Collection Starter Kit, 54 Rocks & Minerals with Name Labels

I live rocks and this is a great collection. All the rocks are labeled clearly and they are a perfect size to examine. My students enjoyed using them in their rock research projects.

Wonderful variety of beautiful stones. My kid loved it.

My son is autistic and obsessed with geology — and this set was a total jackpot! It kept him busy for hours (which, if you’re a special needs parent, you know is basically a miracle). He examined every rock like a scientist on a caffeine rush, named a few of them, and declared himself the “CEO of Rocks.” The quality was great, and the variety kept him totally engaged. I now have rocks on my kitchen table, in his pockets, the washing machine (oops), and under my pillow. Totally worth it. If your kid loves science, collecting things, or just enjoys turning your living room into a mini excavation site, this is the set for you!

I use these to do science outreach and they are a hit with all ages. The info cards are pretty much useless to me as they include information that has no scientific basis, so I threw them out and created my own set of information cards.

My little grandson is fascinated with different stones and gem. He was so in awe with this collection.

Bought this set for a future geologist/scientist, now 7. Very comprehensive and well laid out. Properly identified with honest to God samples actually large enough to hold and examine. Cost effective, educational and what I consider a great investment into the future. Funds permitting I'll consider having a few more sets in reserve for stocking stuffers and grandchildren and neighbor visits. Maybe stash an extra for me to play with too.

Rock collection is good but I wish the packaging was sturdier. Once the container falls out of hands and rocks fall down, it's impossible to put them back into their right spots.

I bought this for my daughter, who is learning about minerals and rocks in class right now. I was surprised that when it came in, I didn't have to sort the rocks and try to figure out which was what. They were already labeled and in each slot. It came with a full-color booklet to help you learn a little more about each one. There's 9 stones that are polished that sit in the first row and you can compare those to their unpolished counterparts below. So you can expect to get 2 of the same rocks, 1 polished and 1 unpolished. I think this is a cool idea because it gives you an idea of how the stone changes shape and luster with polishing and forming the stone. I would recommend this for anyone who loves rocks.

Great set for my 6 yo grandson. Good assortment of rocks with an accompanying book. He loved it!

All good, but English is missing! the box is in english and book has no english... very strange.

Nicely presented. I took a photo to ensure each rock/ mineral is returned to its correct pocket as there are one or two that look similar & I was concerned my grandson may get them mixed up. Looking forward to learning all about them with him
