So far so good
After doing tons of research on the 4.0 I couldn't find any timing kits from motorcraft so I decided to try this one. Everything looked good quality and fit like oem. I replaced the tty bolts and primed the oil system before starting and its been running well and has no rattle at startup. Will update if anything changes but so far its good.

Great kit, includes everything needed
Came with everything needed! I repaired a friends 2006 Mustang 4.0L v6. These plastic tensioned are known to fail from the factory- so I was happy to find an all inclusive kit for a reasonable price. This kit has everything needed.

The Crank Chain Tensioner Fell Apart After 160 Miles
The front crank tensioner fell apart after an hour or so of idling and 160 miles of driving. It caused the engine to jump time, break down, then limp home. See the picture, you can see a little bit of rust on the bracket because the timing cover stayed open for over a month with the hood closed while I did other stuff to another truck. Ordering the $45 Ford part. This kit is not the one, stay away!
