After several aborted attempts at getting adaptors to work (none were recognised) we purchased two of these DVI to Thunderbolt 3 cables. Plugged them in and instantly the monitors came to life. Used the two Thunderbolt sockets with two cables to power two DVI monitors. Very happy.

Great quality cable. Plugs into my MacBook Pro (2017 model) and then into a DVI monitor. Nice quality and great price. Highly recommend.

I ordered 2 of these cables for 2 different computers of the same spec at similar times. The first one worked to start with and then over a year got more and more tempromental and has now stopped working. The second cable didn't work at all and having 2, on comparrison the packaging and branding to the cables were different. Counterfeiting going on here possibly?

Cable was bought to extend monitor display for a surface book connecting via dvi port to USB C. It worked fine.

I bought this cable to connet my Dell Lattitude 2 in 1 laptop 5285 (USB-C) with an external monitor (DVI). The cable was physically hooked up with both ends, but there was no electronic communication whatsoever. It should work in principle, but didn't in reality. Shame!!

Nach dem nur halb erfolgreichen Versuch, einen Acer-Monitor von einem 2016er Macbook Pro aus mit Adapter und einem Standard-DVI-Kabel anzusteuern, war guter Rat teuer. Halb erfolgreich heißt: der Monitor sprang nur manchmal an, und zwar ganz unabhängig davon, ob der Mac aus dem Schlaf erwachte oder neu gestartet wurde. Irgendwann kam ich dann auf die Idee, genau das passende Kabel zu suchen, und es funktionierte auf Anhieb, mit zwei verschiedenen Monitoren. Der USB-C-Stecker ist auch schmal genug, dass ein anderer Stecker am Macbook noch daneben passst. Bin sehr zufrieden. Das Kabel ist dünner als ein Standard-DVI-Kabel, auch angenehm.

L'introduzione di USB-C, talora come unica tipologia di porta (es. i nuovi macbookpro di Apple), pone spesso nella necessità di utilizzare adattatori per dare continuità alle connessioni con eventuali periferiche preesistenti. Certo la tipologia si presenta innovativa e molto promettente ma il suo sviluppo/integrazione è ancora tutt'altro che univoco, costituendo un campo decisamente variegato. Si aprono dunque quesiti sulla effettiva compatibilità dei dispositivi e degli adattatori di connessione. Ho acquistato questo cavetto e sperimentato con successo la perfetta funzionalità con i citati dispositivi. La costruzione è solida e ben rifinita. Non fondamentale ma apprezzata e pratica l'integrazione di una fascetta raggruppa cavi in velcro (curata e discreta). In sintesi il prodotto assolve pienamente al suo scopo.

Fantastic cable to connect your USB-C computer to an external monitor. Works flawlessly! Better to use this than one of those adaptors. I tried using USB-C to HDMI adaptors but the resolution was always a bit off. These cables support all the resolution that you'll need. While obvious, I'll state it anyways, these cables do not pass audio though to the DVI cable because DVI has no audio support.
