Size: slightly oversized, compared to traditional DS Lite batteries. I prefer them to be a snug fit so they don't rattle around in the compartment, so this is a plus.Battery life: my original battery ran for 6 minutes in a controlled max-usage test. The same test yields 3 hours, 16 minutes on the new battery after a full drain/charge cycle.Arrival: package came quickly and in good condition, with a screwdriver as well to open the battery cover. Very thoughtful and convenient, and also was well-charged.

My original DS Lite battery is showing its age -- it doesn't last very long during gameplay, and it won't hold a charge for more than a couple of weeks when powered off, between uses. I know what to expect from most "no name" aftermarket batteries, so this one from KOOAQQ is an acceptable replacement.Most aftermarket batteries come labeled with bogus, inflated capacities, and this one is no exception -- with the same size, weight, and chemistry than the OEM battery, you should expect a true capacity similar to the original.My original battery's performance has degraded to about 45 minutes of gameplay; while I don't remember how good it was when it was new, I'm pretty sure it was better than that. It is rated at 1,000mAh.The KOOAQQ battery will deliver 1 hour 15 minutes of gameplay (tested with the same game, same levels), or 1 hour 30 minutes of undisturbed screen-on time on the DS Lite's main menu. I went through a couple of charge/discharge cycles first, and then tested this repeatedly with nearly identical results. Even using the degraded OEM battery's current runtime as a reference, the new battery is clearly not 2,500mAh.I do not like the fact that we can never trust the stated capacities of such batteries, but again, knowing what to expect, I am not surprised and therefore not particularly displeased. The KOOAQQ battery does last longer than the original in its current state, so my expectations are met.

Battery worked & fit perfectly for my Nintendo DS Lite, doubled the capacity. The provided screwdriver was a bit too big to remove but luckily I had a very small screwdriver bit.

Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Followed all instruction on page. This battery doesn’t even last as long as an original DS lite battery. Not 2500 mAh

It comes with a tiny screwdriver to open the battery cover, and since the battery connects with contacts rather than a plug-in cable, it's as easy to switch out as a AA battery.It came with a charge that I guess was about half its capacity. The 2.5Ah might be misleading, as it seems to last only slightly longer than my old Nintendo battery, which says it is only 1Ah, and is maybe a decade old now. Maybe after a few charge cycles it might get better, but so far it doesn't inspire confidence in actually being double the Nintendo battery capacity.

The battery in my DS Lite runs out of power quickly making it hard to play games. I got this battery as a replacement because it has 2500 mAh, which is much better than the 1000 mAh on the original. It came partially energized. I charged it up to 100% and it has been going for a couple of hours already.

This battery is easy to install and fits perfectly. Battery is great and is a value to replace your old battery
