Consistently good
We had a need to secure several interior doors and wanted a combination door handle that doesn't require a key. I was so pleased with this product that I ordered five and they have all worked consistently well. All my installations were replacements so I was able to save the original strike plate and I didn't have to use the supplied guide to make a strike plate. After figuring out that the assembly required disassembly first I went from 45 minutes on the first install to 10 minutes each.As shown in the photos the unit comes fully assembled and has back-up keys along with a strike plate if needed and templates when boring the door hole. It's very important that the door is the correct size as cited, and to adjust the screws with a manual phillips head and not an electric screwdriver in order to avoid over-screwing. The handle is made from sturdy material and it not likely to break without a lot of effort. The four AA batteries that are not included make the keys light up whenever touched making it easy to enter the combination in minimal light. Finally, it can be set up to use a finger print, which I haven't done. If I have problems doing that I'll update this review, otherwise, my opinion is that the user will be very happy with this product. Each the internal and external knobs extend three inches from the door.

The THORBOLT MD1 is
Unequivocally one of the best electronic door locks on the market. I reviewed several options before deciding to purchase the MD1. I am happy with my decision because the THORBOLT door lock is well-designed, offers thoughtful features, is easy to install, and is the right size.Backup entry options, i.e., a key and USB power for the situations where the battery dies, is noteworthy. Also, if you use your access code instead of fingerprint, you can enter up to 20 digits along with your access code so onlookers wonāt figure out the code. You also have the ability to turn off the auto lock feature, which locks the lock after five seconds, and enable passage mode. Additionally, you can set the lock to quiet mode. The fingerprint sensor is accurate; ensure the sensor and your finger are dry and clean when using fingerprint for entry. If you need a realizable and easy to install electronic door lock, fit for purpose, the THORBOLT brand should be at the top of your list.Itās worth every penny!

Very responsive Fingerprint Reader
I recently purchased the MD1 Fingerprint Door Knob with Keypad, and it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels sturdy and secure. The fingerprint scanner is highly responsive, unlocking the door almost instantly. I also appreciate the keypad feature, which offers additional access options for family or guests. One of the standout features is its reliability. Iāve tested it multiple times, and it works flawlessly every time ā no delays or misreads. The sleek design adds a modern touch to my door while providing peace of mind with its top-notch security features. If youāre looking for a high-quality, user-friendly smart door lock, I highly recommend the MD1. It has made home access incredibly convenient without compromising on safety!

Thorbolt! An easy, affordable, and GODLY way to keep your place(s) safe!
I've only had this product for a few days now, but insofar, I'm pretty well impressed. If you need a simple way to control access to a particular area, or even your main door, then Thorbolt is a godly solution to that problem. The good:- Overall value for money- Premium look and feel, elegant design- USB-C Power input- Easy installation- Key accessibility- Silent mode- Supports 1 Admin code + 99 User codes- Deadlatch for added security- Anti-peep/misdirection (sandwich codes between random numbers to thwart bad actors with prying eyes)- Automatic locking, plus option to temporarily disable- Un/Locking mechanism not unreasonably loud, one might say it's a bit quiet actuallyAdded bonus:- Keeps loved ones safe by making it almost impossible for children, elderly, and disabled to accidentally lock themselves inside of a room or closet, due to mechanical design of interior handle*The bad:- Batteries not included- No way to lock from the inside- Strikeplate and strikebox too large for most standard interior doors- No included alternate strikeplate and strikebox for standard interior doors- Interior handle/cover seems to be made of plastic, bringing durability into question- Not enough warranty transparencyThe neutral:- No app support (good for security, less convenient)- No fingerprint reader (good for security, less convenient)- Key accessibility adds convenience, but may also introduce added vulnerability- Has a slight learning curve, but good functionality- Shape of knob may feel weird for some- Resistant to water, but not IP ratedWhat I would like to see in future iterations:- A button on the interior side that sits flush on the rose or handle, allowing user to lock from inside. For added functionality it could also activate a Privacy Mode.- Privacy Mode: A mode that can be activated from the inside or outside where only the key, admin code, or select fingerprint can unlock the doorknob.- Parental Control/safety Mode: A mode where Privacy Mode and Passage Mode couldn't be disabled without entering Admin code, and maybe followed by a confirmation code to prevent user error and accidental disablement.- A premium (higher security) version with or without fingerprint sensor, without physical key, and with added yubikey (or similar) authenticator support. It should also have a switch inside handle (sitting at any point between the two roses) to toggle on/off app support & other wireless functionality. That could be your "top of the line" flagship model, maybe with even stronger quality material than this one.- Anti-peep function with support for far more additional numbers to be entered in front and behind codes, further throwing off potential bad actors, maybe even adding ability to sandwich some random numbers in between two halves of any correct code as well.- Keeping with the same design language, making it so the keypad is recessed a bit more in a way where it still looks and feels exactly the same (with buttons still embossed), but it's just ever so slightly shrouded by the frame (outer rim) of the handle itself. This would make it even more difficult for the nosey standing by to ascertain correct codes, thus gaining access when they shouldn't.- Firmware upgrade via USB- IP ratings, and better warranty transparency*This assumes the person in question doesn't have some underlying disability, condition, or lack of dexterity which inhibits their ability to reach, grab, and turn the knob respectively. All things considered, the product that it is, at the price point that it is...My Rating: 4.5 out of 5.0, would definitely recommend!May update soon with pictures!!!Thanks for reading!

Very useful and easy!
Got these for our inside garage door, office door, and laundry/shop door in our home. Kids were playing with tools and electronics they shouldn't be and these have done exactly what we wanted them to! Its very quick and easy to turn walkthrough mode on when needed, the buttons are easy to distinguish, knob is super easy to turn but feels nice and solid, and setting the code was fast as well. My husband wasnāt too sure about the different shape, but we love them now. Definitely no regrets on this purchase.
