i purchased this speaker about 3 months back and i never take a step back when my neighbors start to annoy me with their loud TV . Given that fact, you know it's loud.But how about about take some time, look around the speaker, touch it , push the mesh to feel if woofer is in the place or the buttons are laid out in right way.You'll feel that it looks good in your room , is quite solidly built and has enough buttons (just in case you lose the remote), pretty good to look at(doesn't have fit and finish like some expensive polk rti's that i have downstairs).Now coming back to the main topic,the sound which is ,in one word ' brilliant '.Now don't get me wrong. It is not brilliant at every volume. You have to turn it up to at least 30% volume before it starts to sound sweet . These speakers do need some break-in time .Mine took no more than 20 days with 4 hours use at 60% volume.Now the speakers claim to have 4 inch mid-range driver and an 8 inch subwoofer but that is not true. The mid-range driver measure around 3.5 inches and the subwoofer measures 7.5 inches ,so yeah , gonna point that out.The speakers require absolute best placement and hearing angles for full range audio. . You have to keep speaker to your ears level if you are listening from distances less than 10 feet. You can not put these speakers far apart(more than 15feet) as the off axis performance is poor. I have kept mine on 1.5 feet tall stool , separated by 11 feet with 6 inches of distance from the back wall. When i sit on my sofa ,the speakers are directed onto my ears and are quite great in that way but when i stand up, they get out of the axis . I have to move to about 14-15 feet from the speakers to get back in the coverage area of sound.Once everything is settled, they sound fantastic.Tweeter sometimes,needs some equalization for better output. There is no crossovers in the speakers which is a bit of let down,but then it's so cheap , can't complain. Mids are bright. Bass is good and can really shake windows. Although it looks like some expensive speaker made for critical listening but it is not. It's a gutter boy that'll play loud dubstep and edm all night and wack the neighbor's bottom Everytime the bass drops. The design simply contradict the sound. Don't get me wrong, it's sounds good but is just not made for that kind of music. You'll rather buy a studio monitor for that or some high end speakers. The volume through Bluetooth is great but through aux is pretty low when used with phones(thanx google for destroying the complete use of my phone's amp). But f&d thought of that as you can always increase volume from your laptop's player and it will be just fine.Bluetooth works great. There is some hiss noise when connected through aux. The speakers themselves are 105 watt (watch AKS's video )each and f&d claims 55 watt rms which also proves that the speakers are underpowered and you can feel that once you take them to max volume. Now I'm not going to talk about the loudness as it is relative but they are loud for their size. Though it feels solid and well built but it is not. There is very less port noise from both speakers (which is good)but the right main speaker creates noise around 40hz as the control panel is not sealed and you can feel air coming out of it . You have to seal it. I've glue gunned it and it works fine. Remote works fine and , yeah the mic too but I don't use it.To summarize the whole ,this speaker is made to play edm , trap , hip hop ,rock and some classicals all day at loud volume. I mean i can throw a rave party if i buy another set and place them at correct distance in a 1500sq feet hall. For <10k rs they are steal. They don't not sound as rich as my plok rti7 but are loud enough and also delaitled enough.

Dear reader,Please let me tell you that I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to buying sound systems online. I would suggest everyone to buy a product that they've heard before. Reviews can be misleading, everyone's expectation of a crisp sound can be different. Please go on to read the review further.I was using a Sony D-40 before I ordered these. I got a great deal on this product combining cashback and EMI options. Let me assure that Sony is not even half compared to the quantity of the volume of this product. The sound quality is better as well. Below mentioned are a few criterion on which my purchase was based on.1. The Speakers : The two tower speakers are big and heavy. The material quality and finish is great. You have all the connected points as the back and a back up set of buttons on the left of one of the speakers in case the remote is destroyed. The quality of the remote is not great but works well for now, i'm not sure if it would last well.2. The Sound: Phenomenal. The sound quality of these speakers are beyond impressive. The bass is perfect, not fake boosted and not a different kind of thump than what is expected ( yes i've had speakers with bass sounding different to what the original sounds like) The sound is true to every aspect. Please do not check the quality of a speaker based on youtube video and how it sounds on the speaker. The best app to check the sound quality could be iTunes, amazon prime music or even spotify for certain songs. The Treble, rifts, surround everything is perfect for this price point. If you're worried about how it sounds, do not worry any longer and buy these. The volume levels are enough so that you never reach the maximum volume of the speakers (because your neighbors would call the cops on you, it is that loud).3. Connectivity : You can connect your TV, Bluetooth devices and NFC with the product. Although the bluetooth range is not great but acceptable.4. Convenience: The speakers a quite big in size and the best output that any speaker gives is when you place it on the floor. You cannot choose to keep them on a Cabinet or hang them, it's against physics. So understand what you're getting into before buying the product.The free mic is not of great quality and should break in due course of time but hey, it's just a temporary stunt device unless you're a serious singer, in which case i'd suggest you to buy a better microphone with these set of speaker.Final word. It's a great product for the price. It has managed to knock down products ranging twice it's value in terms of sheer speaker quality.
