TRIPPED Travel Gear Compression Packing Cubes for Carry-On Travel 6-Pack

Bought these for a recent 10 day trip to the UK and they did the trick for organizing my carry on and helped compress everything down so I could pack home way too many souvenirs. Light and performed well. No complaints here.

Just bought and used these (on the advice of wife) for a 4 day weekend trip. Amazed at how much I could stuff into these. All my clothes for the trip (including some warm for layers) crammed into 4 cubes. One large cube had 3 pair of men’s jeans in it. I had to work at it but I got it zipped down. The 4 cubes and ziplocks with toiletries then fit into a personal item size backpack - We flew round trip for cheap ($240 total for both of us) because of no carry-on or checked baggage fee, and brought our own water/snacks. The backpack fits under the seat in front of you and flys for free. Wear/bring your jacket on the plane with you. Makes a weekend getaway affordable if you fly with a low cost no frills airline. Wife and I each have the same cubes/backpacks and we manage to pack it all in. You can really compress these down big time if you work at it, and they withstand the torture test. I did not notice any signs of wear whatsoever even with zippers. I’m impressed enough with them to write this review. Well worth the extra money for a better quality product that should last for more than just a few trips, not to mention the aggravation factor of junk disintegrating in front of you while traveling. I give credit to the wife who has been using these for a while and encouraged me to buy this set/brand. You get what you pay for.

I ordered these for an upcoming month long trip to Europe-trying to pack in carry on only. So far I have packed one of the large sized ones for my husband’s carry on. I packed 3 short sleeved shirts folded, 2 lightweight golf shorts rolled and a pair of lightweight pants rolled. Everything fit easily, but it did take some squishing down to zip the compression zippers. I was really careful and took my time as I went so that I did not break the zippers or rip the cubes. They seem pretty sturdy but I was still careful. It fit perfectly into a smaller European sized carry on with room for another beside it or on top and still room for the smaller sized ones. I can’t comment on wrinkling but will update after our trip. So far I’m happy.

The quality of these items are incredible. The zippers are great quality, the sewing is double stitched. Last night I laid out 5 days worth of clothes for my upcoming trip to the gulf coast. I was able to fit 3 large T-shirt’s, 3 pairs of shorts , 3 pairs or underwear and 3 pairs of socks, in ONE of the large cubes. That was about as much as I would put in one large compression cube. The medium ones are great for outliers in your outfits. Perfect for a 2 pack of swim trunks in one and your PJ’s in the second medium one. The small rectangular one can be use for anything. Undergarments, electronic cords, anything really. The product is great and I will definitely be using these in my upcoming travels. Also, if you don’t follow FIN and TIM go do so. They have an amazing travel channel and they only make/design high quality products that they use themselves on the road. That’s something most travel gear producers can’t say. Much respect - please keep doing what you’re doing guys!

I have a carry-on that I am preparing to take for 6 days in Greece. I ordered these compression bags in a 6 pack to see how the good reviews stood the test. I really like these bags. Very light weight. I was able to fit 11 tees in one bag, however, it was a bit hard to close the compression zipper without the fear of breaking the zipper or tearing the material. I split out the t-shirts into 6 and it fit very well. I then removed 6 shirts and tried the shorts. I was able to fit 4 pairs of denim shorts in the 2nd bag. As you can see, I still have a a little more room for other items. I will use the smaller bags for undies and socks and other necessities. The carry-on bag I have is by OGIO called the layover. With these compression bags and the additional compartments in luggage, I'll hv enough space for souvenirs. Highly recommend!

Good concept, but not-so-good execution. I think these are good as packing cubes; however I bought them for the "compression" feature. That is where it doesn't meet my expectations. In order to compress, you have to be able to zip the "compression zipper" closed. This in only possible if you only fill the cube 75%...so in this case what is it really compressing? You also have to remember what you put in which bag so I found myself unzipping random bags to find my socks or pants, etc. I think what these really need are compression STRAPS (vs zippers).

I purchased this kit a few weeks ago and was able to try it out last weekend. I used it in a bucket style dry bag and strapped it to my luggage rack on my motorcycle. This compression kit worked really well. To be honest, I didn’t pack nearly as much as this kit will actually hold. I used it more for organizing my dry bag, but it’s a nice setup. Seems plenty sturdy for a suitcase/bag or whatever your luggage of choice. Zippers work fine, like others have said you may have zip these up using your finger as a guide to prevent the zipper from biting into the nylon compression sides but that’s not even a deal to me. I’d recommend this kit for anyone looking to save space or organize their luggage. Worked very well for me and I will continue to use them.

What did I do before packing cubes? These have been great. They’re strong and and the zips are holding up really well. I pack a heap into each bag and they compress very well. Packing takes me longer now as it’s honestly a bit more of a hassle getting stuff into these bags and then compressing them down, realising you’ve maybe overdone it, taking something out, rearranging! But it’s a process and it’s a matter of finding a new packing groove. You also have to be very careful about not getting the fabric of the bag caught in the zip. That’s a nightmare. But once you figure these things out, it’s really quite revolutionary. My packing is much more organised and it satisfies my need to take more than I need because I can fit it in better. Obviously that’s not the goal here, but that’s just me, so I’m happy with it!

Great product, very easy to use and you're able to pack a lot into a small area. Very helpful in staying organized and maximizing space. I like using these and being able to travel with just a carry-on. Laundry bag is an awesome addition to seperate the dirty from the clean and it compresses well for traveling.

I've never used compression cubes until I bought these. After using them on a three week trip I don't think I'll ever travel without using cubes again! So handy and great for keeping everything organized. My only complaint with this product is that one of the smaller bags ripped slightly after I packed it too full of underwear. It would be better if they were more durable, but I think it was my fault for packing it too full and trying to squish 15 pairs of briefs in it, which it did fit after the rip! I'd recommend these ones since the price is great and they look good too. Just be careful when zipping them up if they are overstuffed.
