I purchased 2 copies of Vegas Pro 22. One worked fo 30 days. Neither is working now. Support is only acknowledging they got my emails but not resolving the problem. I spoke to Forum/Community and AI and not able to get the serial number issue resolved. I am getting error 24, serial number has already been used.

Really impressed with how easy this program makes video editing. Everything’s in one timeline — trimming clips, adding effects, fixing audio — so you don’t have to jump between tools. The AI features for voiceovers, subtitles, and cutting interviews save a ton of time and actually work. It’s been great for putting together quick social posts as well as longer videos without feeling overwhelmed. While there are some online tools that offer similar features, they’re often slower, limited by your internet speed, and don’t have the same depth. Having all of this built into one desktop program makes it faster and more reliable than bouncing between multiple web apps.

This is professional quality software made for consumers. This is an all in one video, audio and post production software package. The recommended specifications to run this are pedestrian but if you want to get the most from it you would build a video editing rig. That said, this still shines on ordinary machines, gaming machines, mini PCs and laptops! I was pretty amazed at how fast it moved on different platforms. From Zen to Zen+ to Zen 5, it still works well. GPU acceleration makes this even faster. All of the bells and whistles are here. There are a metric ton of fades, wipes and transitions in general. There is canned sound and stock video sources as well that you can access to punch up your video using this software. The timeline scrubs easily with a fast PC even in 4K. The software itself is easy to install and get running but be aware that there is a learning curve. If you have use software like this before you'll find the usual tools if you hunt. If you have never used software like this before you can reference the manual, videos online and different forums to get a good handle on the package. It makes it easy to be real. Compared to say, Davinci Resolve, this is simple to use. Yet it's just as powerful in most ways. I made a few videos with Vegas and I was happy with the output and the ease of use I had on my first project. Unfortunately I edited a battle rap video so i will not be uploading that but needless to say it was seamless and the audio popped. I even added deeper bass with a 12dB per octave punch at 60 Hz! This is quality software at a good price. Get in before it goes subscription as they already have a subscription model in place for 22 so who knows how long it'll be before you can no longer have a local copy that doesn't require an internet connection. This is the full, Vegas Pro 22 Suite.

Worst software I've ever used. It is not worth the money. I would not recommend it to my friends and family.

ONLY upgraded from v15. to get AI MODULES. installation was no problem on Win 10 intel i7 kaby lake 3700. . But the AI masks (as a work around for lacking green screen) used over 3/4 of of 32 gB of RAM and crashed the program quire a few times. I tried it on on 7 second of video mp4 HD and it said it would be done in 2 hours!!! in comparison the regular plugins did not break a sweat. There are some arguable minor improvements. YMMV. I admit my GPU could be upgraded, but GPU was not draining resources. The mask 2 AI is computation intensive. So there is still optimization work .. if possible.... to be done by Vegas Pro engineers. Its a pity. I will return it with regrets I could not support the company. Hope this helps.

I’ve used Premiere for decades - I even taught it at the college level, but Adobe’s recent update to their terms of service states that THEY own the rights to anything that YOU create on any of their products. Seriously. Read your terms of service - you’ll be horrified. They’re doing this so they can use our work to feed their AI so when it creates something that’s based almost entirely on YOUR work, you don’t get a fees and you can’t sue. Bat s—— crazy! So, as a result, I’ve canceled by Creative Cloud subscription and I’m never going back. I’ve used Vegas a couple of times in the past and I’ve always been impressed by it. It may take a bit of transition time, but it’ll be worth it in the long run. I wish finding replacements for Illustrator and Photoshop was as easy as the choice of switching out Premiere with Vegas. Oh, and I OWN it! It’s not a ridiculous subscription! And it doesn’t try to steal my work! Basic, common sense stuff.
