so simple to set up and it is worth because of its price. definitely recommend it

I have not used the kit yet as I need to set up the proper kitchen environment to work efficiently and safely. This review is in regards to how the items were packaged and the amazingly swift and helpful feedback I got from the seller. The apparatus arrived in two boxes and I was a little nervous because one box seemed especially large. The package was light. Inside the larger box was a smaller box containing all the materials listed on the advertisement packed tight in black styrofoam. I double-checked, everything is there, nothing broken, and although everything was firmly in place it was easy to remove each piece. The apparatus materials were somewhat smaller than I had imagined but right now I don't have a lot of product, so it is the right size for experimentation. Problem: I had no idea how to assemble a distillery and there were no instructions in the package. I wrote to The seller and she answered me within 24 hours. The response was very personable and encouraging, yet professional. The email contained written instructions in a file and also links video instructions on how to assemble and use the product. Video has some nice calming music as well. I'm a bit nervous about the alcohol burner but everything I have read about them is positive. So far I am very pleased. As soon as I get everything set up I will try and do a video on assembly and use.

I HAVE USED this for awhile and it has been a good product. But it is hard to use it for fractional distillation because there is no way to insert a thermometer. This forced me to have to purchase a cap that could accept one. Overall the parts are good...just remember to lubricate the joints because with the heat they can be difficult to separate.

Previously received broken item. Requested replacement Updated review: glass came all in tact this time was able to set it up pretty easily. Until the clamp pieces decided to both snap in half as I was about to light the alcohol lamp. Good set but crucial components of product clearly aren't made to last more than one use. If you need to purchase this as a starter kit, purchase your own separate metal clasps as you will need it! Company offers replacement parts but if they are going to be plastic, it isn't worth the wait.

Directions would have been helpful. So now I need to purchase another book on how to use this? This is my first time to make essential oils.

It's a great little unit. I added a soxhlet to it to save time in distillation

I got a this to make essential oils but it doesn't do that. Not as advertised.

Missing a key part in order to use🤨. They say they check each order, I guess mine was done on a friday right before they was about to close.
