These seem small but they are powerful. I placed them on the inside of the window frame at first and they didn't work well because there were gaps and light came through. I removed them and placed the base plates on the window trim, and the light was completely blocked. I used 16 per window.

There is nothing for it to stick to the curtain. So if you want to open the curtain you have all the back I Bff s just falling off onto the ground. I did adhere them to the top of the window frame to test it with my double blackout curtains and light still leaked through the top. It didn’t do anything.

I got these for badges at work. Although our badges come with magnet holders, they get easily lost and we can't get new ones unless we buy a new badge which doesn't make sense at all. So when I saw this set, I snatched them up and I started handing them out like candy. I noticed that they can also be used for curtains, I never thought about doing that, and I think that is a genuis idea, but my window frames are not metal. It's too bad that both parts of these closures don't have adhesives.

The magnets hold my curtains in my RV. Easy to remove with a simple twist.
