I got my mom a couple of these for Christmas and she loved them! She even pulled a rare frosted flakes box with the cereal pouring out. Pretty cool. we loved the detail on all of the Little products.

I love Zuru Mini Brands. This was the first time I got the Retro Capsules, and I'm happy I did. They were very nostalgic, finding what I did in each little packet. They have great attention to detail on them, and the little collection list is very helpful. I got a few rare ones actually, but out of all the ones I got, as an IT person, the VHS and Floppy Disk are my favorite! I like to use these for little projects, I add a shoe charm backing with super glue to some of these when I want to make Croc Charms, I mainly do this for the Foodies ones, but I'm going to do it for these as well since I have a goal to make some nostalgia charms. I'll definitely be getting some more to see what other ones I can get for my small collection. The only issue I could point out, is Mini Brands Capsule plastic is known to be difficult to get off, if you're a nail-biter like me, use tweezers or a box cutter to help remove the 2 layers of plastic around the capsule. Once you get inside the capsule, the blind packets are made of paper so you can open those easily.

My 6 year old nephew LOVES these. He loves the mystery/surprise element of it as well as the novelty of the teeny tiny items. He requests these for every birthday or holiday and has grown quite the collection of items. I’ve been pretty impressed by the detail of the tiny items, including a tiny little book or magazine that actually had itty bitty words on the pages. They’re pretty good quality too. And with the price of dollhouse items at a craft store, I’d say these are a pretty good deal for the price. The only downside is that because of the mystery element, it’s easy to get duplicate items in subsequent eggs.

These are a good value when they are on sale. I have a few different Zuru Mini Brand lines that I prefer and the Retro Series is one of them because I enjoy the size, quality of the branded minis in this series, and it’s fun to see what you will get! I purchased the single this time and as shown in the photos, I received 2 “rare” and 3 “common” minis. I didn’t have any of these yet so that alone was a “win” for me. I am an adult and while I enjoy the process of opening the Zuru/5surprise line of Mini Brand toys, I use them in multi-media art pieces. These toys do not belong in homes with any small children or pets as they are a choking hazard. The Retro Series does not require any assembly like others (such as some of the items in the Home Series), but the items are very tiny and if swallowed, even if a child or pet did not choke, I can definitely see how some of the item could cause a costly blockage elsewhere in the body. Just a heads up! Keep these away from pets and small children.

My daughter has been wanting the mini brand toys for a while and I'm so glad I got this for her. Super cute miniature collection which she now uses in her doll house. She loves the notebook.
