Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate Crunchy Waffle Bar 100g

Gorgeous chocolate, really nice flavour and texture with the added crunch.

This chocolate is delicious, Lindt is known for its good quality chocolate and this is no exception. It's a lovely smooth but mild dark chocolate thats sweetened perfectly by the tiny honey comb pieces in it that had a little crunch to each bite! This is perfect if you're wanting to treat yourself to a little indulgence or to gift to any chocoholic in your life. At 100g its a standard sized chocolate bar, but with all Lindt its quite thin so its one to savour instead of guzzle - but its definitely hard not to guzzle!

Quite impressed with this Lindt Excellence dark crunchy waffle bar.The dark chocolate doesn’t have necessarily the highest cocoa content but does taste like a quality dark chocolate, nice and creamy too. The waffle bits are tiny and crunchy. Not quite what I was expecting and a bit hard to put my finger on. A bit like finding bits of sea salt in the chocolate, hard and crunchy.It’s very nice but I’m not sure there is enough here to push you to the product line if you aren’t familiar with it already. I’m going four stars based on taste.

This dark chocolate bar comes in Lindt's high-grade attractive-looking packaging, but for me, the packaging is not important, more important is taste and Lindt chocolate is a winner in wonderful taste.This Lindt Excellence Dark Crunchy Waffle Chocolate Bar dark chocolate was balanced perfectly with the slightly bitter and sweet crunchy waffle which stood out and refreshed your mind with this luxurious treat.Some dark chocolate has only a bitter taste, but this one is balanced. The wafer within the bar gives the chocolate a pleasing texture but does not overwhelm the taste and feel of the dark chocolate bar. Loved the taste and texture. The slight hint of salt reaches a rich taste.After food, if I carve for a sweet dish or any kind of dessert then this chocolate will be a perfect indulgent treat but the only problem is the bar didn’t last long.This chocolate will be delightful even for those who like just 'ordinary' bars.

Why are you reading reviews?It's Lindt dark chocolate with flakes of light waffle biscuit - just buy one!Ok - if you are still here and insist on a review - the dark chocolate is a perfect lighter blend than the bitter darker varieties, the label on the back says 47% cocoa minimum. This makes it easier to eat more of in one sitting, which can only be a good thing! The light, crunchy, waffle biscuit pieces are small but perfectly sized and liberally spread through the chocolate to give a delicate crunch in ever nibble.Give it a try, I guarantee you'll like it!

Dark chocolate isn't my preferred colour of chocolate, but this chocolate bar isn't bad. The waffle pieces give it a crunchy texture in addition to the smooth chocolate, but I don't think they add any flavour of their own. Lindt chocolate is always nice, of course, but that's the only flavour you get (as far as I can tell). Personally, I'd prefer a chocolate bar with a more interesting flavour.

I would naturally expect highly from a chocolate bar from a well-known brand and as such Lindt do make good chocolates, however, this is slightly different and not what I expected.Apart from the bar being very pricey for a 100g bar costing just under 3 pounds, it tastes just like the average dark chocolate bar you'd get from any other standard brand.The crunch is there, but when it states 'crunch' it's a very faint crunch and you have to search for it, if you will.Everyone's taste buds are different, you may like it, but I was expecting a but more and it wasn't for me unfortunately.

The crunchy pieces in this dark chocolate bar are more of a hard biscuit than a honeycomb (crunchy, not Crunchie). If you're a fan of dark chocolate it's definitely worth checking out though, as it's up to Lindt's usual high standard.
