The bike that I am riding had some grips that were old, worn, and not as nice as I would have liked. I bought these as a replacement. I have nothing but good things to say regarding these grips. The angle of the hand rest portion can be adjusted to a spot that is comfortable for you, and that increased area to rest your hand really relieves pressure that can lead to pain after riding an entire shift. The end of the grip is great as it gives you an additional place to put your hands so that you can change up your hand position while riding and relieve tension that sitting in 1 position can cause. These are also useful when climbing steep inclines as it allows more control and proper position of your body on the bike. Be aware when buying these, that the angle of the grip is adjustable and is secured at that desired angle by a screw on the end of the grip which is very close to the end of the handlebars. On my bike, 1 of the bar ends is slightly dented or rounded from the bike having been either dropped or wrecked. It happened before I was assigned to that bike, but it does effect the use of these grips. Because the grips secure using that screw and the handlebar end is buggered up a bit, the grip on 1 side will not stay tightened down and set at the same angle. It wants to slip and slide towards the bar end due to the damaged and rounded nature of that part of the bike. Not a fault of the grip, but more a problem with my assigned bike. Just a point to think about if your handlebar ends have been scraped or damaged.
