Nice
It’s sturdy for the price and connected quick. I’ve been using steady since I got it, about a week.

WOW...Just WOW! Love this Keyboard/Mouse Set
I bought this (and hoping to help anyone else with this particular problem) b/c I always have an conflict with my Toshiba laptop keyboard's software/hardware with certain buttons & commands that I like to do on a daily basis. Something with the Windows updates that messes up my laptop's keyboard system, I have no idea. I cannot afford to buy device driver fixers or other programs that claim that can fix this problem. Certainly since I am not that tech savvy I won't invest in those or even uninstall/reinstall the keyboard software so I thought of other inexpensive ways to fix this recurring issue.FIrst off, this device is VERY EASY to assemble, whether you are tech savvy or not. It does come with an instruction manual but you won't need it. You just need to plug-in the USB attachment it comes with (located under the mouse) and either your computer will prompt you to set it up & you just agree OR it automatically does it for you. In my case, mines did it for me automatically. Takes about a good minute or two to recognize the wireless keyboard and mouse .I did not really need the mouse, just the keyboard but since it came with it, I said "why not use it?" and just test it out. I actually LOVE the mouse better than the keyboard. It feels really nice in the hand (especially if you have small hands like I do, and I am a female as well) and its HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL for production. Very fast. You DO NOT need a mouse pad to operate with this product either. Works on almost any surface. It is a laser mouse that also works automatically. It does have a on & off switch so make sure you put it on, along with the batteries before you set the USB up onto your computer. Think this should work with desktops too but definitely works for laptops.Only thing about this keyboard is (and perhaps this is just me, and hopefully this will get better in time) but the keys are very soft & can be slippery for me to type fast at times (maybe a bit too close to each other as well), as I am typing up this review at the moment. But it feels nice to type nonetheless. For me, maybe I am not used to it yet (since every keyboard is different) but yeah, I love that I can finally type mostly like how I used to, without any worry or major issues like me pounding on certain buttons that don't want to work because of the stupid software issues and such. ALSO, it is battery operated for both the keyboard & mouse.Interesting that the keyboard needs only one (1) AAA battery but the mouse needs two (2) AAA batteries. So definitely buy AAA batteries with this device. Batteries are NOT included. The keyboard also warns you when the battery juice is low to change it. Details are located on the keyboard itself, by the right side of the keyboard. Don't know what the A means though. Probably says it in the manual. This product is SO WORTH the investment as a temporary and/or permanent solution. At least for me until I can actually fix my laptop or if I don't get used to this keyboard, buy another wireless one in person that feels just like my original laptop keyboard. This still went overall beyond my expectations, as I was very worried about buying something like this, especially on Prime Day and during the July 2019 Mercury Retrograde. During a Mercury Retrograde, you are NOT advised to buy any NEW devise or technology or DO anything NEW in general. Google this term.Seriously though, this is worth your money if you need to get something like this ASAP. It's just WOW :)

Great laptop and mouse set for a non-techie
I love this keyboard and mouse! Its just what I needed and the price was great. It is a basic, lightweight set and works perfectly for me. I have been using them for 3 days now. If you are a serious techie, you may want something heavier, or with more features. It has the chicklet keys that you don't have to push down with so much force, as with a traditional keyboard. That means I can type faster than on our traditional office keyboards. I am also more precise with my typing on this keyboard. The mouse is quite quiet. Not silent, mind you, but very quiet. I am an RN at a hospital and case manage home hospitalization patients. I do a lot of documentation in various programs and having a fast and accurate mouse and keyboard are important to me. I use two monitors simultaneously and the mouse moves flawlessly between the two monitors, no lag time. The mouse does go to sleep to save battery power: just push mouse button and it wakes back up immediately. Set up was simple, just put the batteries in each, and plug dongle (sent under mouse, just pull it out) into usb port of a TURNED ON AND RUNNING laptop or desktop. The dongle installs itself, no drivers toinstall (for me, anyways). It has made my life easier, hope it does yours too.

WARPED AND UNCOMFORTABLE KEYBOARD KEYS
Mouse is simple but works fine. But keyboard is cheap and defective. It is warped and will not sit flat on desk. So it is always rocking back and forth as you type. Also found keys were awkward. Was surprised that this was not mentioned in other reviews. Maybe I have just never used this type of keyboard before but there is no way I am going to be able to transition to this and type without staring at the keyboard while typing instead of the computer screen. Gonna get a Logitech that will cost like 250 % more. But hope it will be usable.Since I returned this keyboard and wrote the review I am now getting offers to BRIBE me into removing the review. This is from an email:"If you reply this email, you will immediately get a $ 5 Amz g1ft (card), and get a $ 25 Amz g1ft (card) within 24 hour after you delete the comment".They kept sending me these offers and I finally said no thanks pls leave me alone.!Is this how the Amazon market place works?

A very decent combo for a very decent price
In this world you get what you pay for, but that is not always the case. This might be one of those exceptions. The keyboard is responsive, has a brushed black metal look but its plastic like all of them. Nice quiet typing similar to what you get with the $200 + Modern Keyboard from Microsoft. A light blue light will help you know when numlock and caps lock are on. The mouse is not as good as the keyboard. It has a lighter flimsier feel to it that is just fine for most users. I only knocked off one star because I am so used to thumb buttons and a more comfortable feeling mouse in my hand. But for the normal user this will not be a problem. Its fast and responsive.Hooking up is as hard as putting in AAA batteries (not included) and plugging in a USB receiver. This receiver is small, protruding only a half inch if that.Overall a great combo for the price. If you are just a normal user this will serve you well for a really incredible price. If you need or want more such as thumb buttons and a more comfortable feeling mouse, you might not like it as well.
