So I've had an infestation of carpet beetles for 3 years. I washed all my clothes at high temperatures and had professionals do a heat treatment and spray insecticide. And at the end of every summer I would think we eradicated the problem, only to see new beetles in the spring. So here is what I did last year and I think it's worked. I used this spray all the time and it does kill the larvae and beetles but not the eggs. So if you are not seeing long term results this is likely why. What I didn't know was that even if you don't see any more after treatment in the summer months, the larvae stick around in the winter and the eggs keep hatching too. They only become beetles in the spring. So you need to treat in the winter months too even if you don't see them. I used this spray all through summer and winter last year and this year (I would hoover, spray, leave for a few weeks and hoover, spray again). It was tedious but if your not doing this in the winter months you may see them again.. So make sure you empty your cupboards, spray them and let the spray dry. Hot wash/dry all your clothes, and get this spray in all areas of the home. Including any nooks and crannies as they can hide behind skirting. Don't forget to wash/spray your curtains too. Also if you have no little ones or pets you can also use ant killer powder on the edges of your floor/carpets and hoover it after a few weeks and that will help too. Following this should eradicate your problem. And this spray works. I've tried another spray but it was too oily, this one dries faster and does the job and I always keep spare bottles of these in the house now. One thing I agree with others, wear a mask especially if spraying a larger area. It does have a strong smell and can make you feel unwell after if you've been over exposed so use with caution.

Honestly this stuff has a really strong smell, we even had the door closed and could smell it in the other room which also had the door closed. I’m in 2 minds if it actually works or not as your supposed to repeat process over a few days and more because of eggs or ones you’ve missed say but after using it twice it was like BOO This I’ll try another method as the smell was so strong. I’m not knocking the product itself as may work, but with pets and children in the house it was a no go situation really. I ended up using a natural product in the end with no scent whatsoever which eventually got rid of the little squatters thankfully. But don’t let what I’ve said decline you from trying this stuff as it most likely does work, but do bare in mind that the smell is super strong and if you have pets in the room you have to take them out, also if you want to sleep in the room the same day then forget it as you’d choke to death 💀😂, well probably not but I certainly wouldn’t advise it anyway. But for the price and you’ve no issues with the smell then give it a go as may do the job but I can’t 100% say it does as I couldn’t complete the cycle of re spraying the carpet every other day for a week or maybe more if some of the squatters did survive-but if they did they must be tough little things as the stench itself would of made me run for my life if I was a carpet beetle believe 😂. So unfortunately I can’t really truthfully rate this product due to not being able to complete the course of dossing the little blitters So it’s a 50/50, but off a guess i would say it works, but that’s a guess I’m afraid.
