These jars are the perfect size to make my canning pickles to tide me over the winter. The wide mouth is big enough that I can get my whole had in the jar, making it very easy to tightly pack the contents. The lid is hard plastic and cleans up easily. The air lock grommet comes with a plug so it can go directly from fermentation to fridge.
