Does the job of covering up a hole that was too large for the deadbolt, and looks much better than the existing gap. It was very easy to install.

I wish I had a before photo, but I am so happy to have found this item. I had to have my lock changed urgently, and the locksmith came, changed out the lock, but left the exposed wood from the old lock. I thought I would have to have my door painted, but thanks to my smart son, he found this for me! Excellent buy! Thank you!

I am so glad that I purchased this product. It's exactly what I needed. The appearance is good. It's pleasing to the eye and adds strength to the door and the lock. It's aesthetically appealing as well as strengthening. It's a great value for the money. The thickness is good which gives a lot more durability and strength. The fit was perfect. And it's universal in size.

Worked out well looks nice

My door knob was over tightened throughout the decades, house built in late 90's, and when i went to replace the all the deadbolts and door knobs I found that the front door knob and latch would stick when turning it either direction and saw that the door, around the door knob hole, had curved/caved in slightly on both sides of the door. I had hoped in my head that this product existed and when i went to googlin "door knob shims" i found these. They work perfect and feel high quality. Zero issues with the door knob sticking. Works fine with or without using the 3M double sided tape. Highly recommend if you have knobb latch sticking issues and wd40/lithium grease spray doesnt fix it.

Works as intended

I was having trouble determining if it would cover the hole fully based on the info provided. I was also concerned if it would match Schlage aged bronze. It did. You can look at the last picture to determine for yourself. The picture I took of the this item before adding the handle didn’t save so I drew an sample of about how much it covered. Lastly, adhesiveness and security. The adhesiveness felt pretty secure. Just installed so no long term reviews here but the handle itself also tightens against it securing it in place.
