This little guy works great ancd gets the job done like a champ. Battery life is great and quality is high. The two different orbital attachments are thoughtful inclusion and there's plenty of accessories that are also of good quality.

For what it is, this is a good polisher. The battery life is good. It's still too soon to say how many cycles the batteries will last before they start going down. With a good pad and polish this will take out medium to fine scratches and let you get into very tight spots. I can't speak to the pads and accessories that come with it because have only used it with urofiber pads but the standard pads look and feel ok.

The BATOCA S5 kit shown in image.png is a lifesaver for those annoying, tight spaces where a full-sized polisher won't fit. Going cordless is such a massive convenience for car detailing, and having all the mini pads and brushes included in one package makes it a great value for the price.

I wasn't sure. I needed a very small sander/buffer that was battery powered and handheld. The unit is very solid feeling, not too heavy, not too light. The accessories that come with it are comprehensive and useful. I thought it would be rather loud, as other units I've considered, it is reasonably quiet, even under load. The unit fits in my hand nicely, except I am adjusting the speed where I hold it. The variable speed control is easy to use, plus/minus. I wish there was a display of the speed, from low to high, a number, something. The feeling of the unit is solid, and feels like it will hold up. So far, so good, I am just using it to polish headlights right now. The power seems reasonable for the size of the battery, the weight of the unit, just do not press hard on it. Overall, I like the unit and will be using it over the next few months for polishing, and perhaps small spot sanding. Update: I was incorrect. There is a digital speed indicator on the unit. I just didn't see it in bright sunlight. Just an FYI!

I had high hopes for the BATOCA S5 Mini Polisher, but this product has been a huge letdown. I've used it a few times now, and I can confidently say that it's not worth the investment. For starters, the battery life is terrible. It barely lasts 20 minutes, and that's without putting it under any considerable pressure or resistance. If you're trying to do even a small project, expect to stop half-way and recharge, which completely kills the work flow. Even worse, the battery takes hours to completely recharge, so if you don't have a spare, you're waiting. Second, the power is woefully lacking. Even at its top setting, the polisher struggles to maintain RPM under moderate pressure. As a car detailing tool, that's inexcusable. The motor is under powered, and the second you try to work on a somewhat stubborn spot, it will bog down. It's just not powerful enough for professional, or even serious DIY, use. Third, the construction is cheap. The plastic is thin, the buttons are squishy, and the device itself does not feel built to last. With just a few uses, I was already noticing too much vibration and a bit of wobble in the pad, which made it even harder to get a smooth finish. In addition, the accessories it comes with are cheap-feeling—the pads wear out fast, and the backing plate feels like it will not last. Finally, the device heats up way too much. After just 10 minutes of use, it gets hot to the touch, making it uncomfortable to hold. This also causes the tool to become quite loud and obnoxious. I expected some noise, but this unit whines and vibrates way too much, so it's uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time. Overall, this polisher is under powered, cheaply made, and unreliable. If you require a serious tool for detailing, skip this one and invest in something else. I regret purchasing this and wish I'd invested my money in a more reputable brand name.

It is an absolutely great tool, reliable, handy and comfy, however it is missing a feature: when you start polishing, you normally start with low speed , then gradually switch to higher speed. Then if you want to add water or polishing compound, then after the restart, it starts with the last speed setting, which makes the compound mess around the place and splash everywhere. Also for my case, as a luthier, it might damage the fine surface of the musical instrument. Other than that, this machine is absolutely a peace of mind to use.
