CME TRS MIDI Cable 4-Pack - TRS Type A (3.5mm - 1/8”) to 5-pin DIN, 2FT / 60CM, Low-Profile - Right Angle Ultra-Thin Plugs for Compact Spaces - Ideal for Synths & Pedalboards

At this time I only know of one other company who offers a right-angle solution for connecting the classic MIDI to 1/8 MIDI in a single cable. So, this company could have made this in a poor quality and we would still have to buy it. Luckily, that does not seem to be the case with this item. Sometimes a company provides a thin cord that still exudes quality. Maybe it is the gold plated end, or the way the classic MIDI end is designed, but I ordered a few of these, and then a few more, and then a few more. Now I have no idea why I ordered so many, but I just love this product with my synthesizers on my pedalboard. I really could not do without these. Maybe with that in mind it is very good that I stocked up a bit, just in case this becomes hard to find later.

I was building a new pedalboard and needed some right-angle DIN-to-TRS MIDI cables, but the ones I'd ordered from Sweetwater were taking a long time to get here. I got these to get by until the Boss ones I'd ordered got to me, but these worked fine, and have been on the board ever since. I haven't had any need for the Boss ones, and probably won't.

CME makes great Midi products! These cables are no different. Definitely great value for the money. The build quality is solid. This was exactly what I needed for my midi connection solution. The TRS type a connection is perfect for small tabletop, synthesizer or drum machines that use a smaller midi input or output. I use these cables to connect my mini synths to my midi hub and other midi controlled equipment. My only critique is that I do wish the cable size was a little thicker, however, it does work well in my set as far as cable routing is concerned. I would definitely recommend this product to all of my musician friends!

Does the job, but you really have to think about the positioning of your equipment a bit much. Really good low profile if you can arrange things properly. Hard to find angled midi cables, so glad with these.

These so far seem great. I have other CME products, (the Bluetooth midi thur 6,etc) So I figured I’d go with a name I know. These are ideal for the tight space on my pedal board

These cables are so handy for a pedalboard. used them to connect up my Timeline, BigSky and Source EQ2 to my Morningstart controller. The angle of the cable coming off the back and the low profile cable makes it nice and neat for my Pedal board regardless of how the 5 pin MIDI DIN is oriented on the device. The cable is never in the way! Time will tell on the longevity but don't really expect it to be a problem because i won't be removing them or putting much stress on the cables

Work well connecting my Volcas with my mini keyboard.

Este es el segundo pack que compro La delgadez extrema de los cables me hizo pensar que iban a durar poco o bien que iba a tener problemas al switchear los programas. Nada mas alejado de la realidad. Funcionan perfecto. Hasta el momento siguen en mi pedalboard sin problemas

These external 3.5mm to 5 pin DIN midi cable work great with my 3.5mm stereo output jack midi gear. The functionality of these is great particularly the right angle plugs on the 3.6mm jacks as they prevent the plugs being easily snagged and or snapped off whilst the straight 5 pin din plugs make the easy to attach of remove from the old midi gear. They'll be great for some of the Korg gear or the Polyend Tracker just with I had one to try them with.

Nobody seems to know that you cannot send midi from trs to 5 pin, the other way goes fine.
