I bought this ice maker for home use because my family goes through a lot of ice every day. It has been very practical since it produces a good amount of ice in a reasonable time, and we no longer depend on the freezer trays. The size is convenient to place under the counter and it doesn’t take up too much space. The stainless steel design looks clean and matches well with the kitchen. It’s not completely silent, but the noise level is normal and not excessive. For home use, it works very well. I also think it could be a good option for a small business like a food truck, small café, or mini bar, as long as the demand isn’t extremely high all day. Overall, it’s a functional choice if you want convenience at home and something that can handle a bit more frequent use.

We have had problems with this ice maker since it was installed. About every two weeks it will stop making ice. I have done several cleanings and descaling like the manufacturer recommended and it doesn’t take care of the problem. I have been emailing back and forth with the manufacturer but they continue to say the same thing. I have sent them pictures and videos of what the ice maker is doing when it goes into time out mode, and followed every step they have emailed to try and fix it but still no resolution. I would like them to either send a repair technician out to fix it or replace it with a new since it has been doing the same thing since it was first installed. Based on my experience with the ice maker and no resolution to my problems with it I would not recommend buying this unit from Kool Ski.

I couldn’t be happier with this ice maker! From the moment it was installed, it has exceeded all expectations. It makes steady stream of clean ice, way more than I expected, and keeps up easily even during our busiest hours. We’ve never run out, which is a huge relief for our cafe. The under counter design is a lifesaver. It fits perfectly, saves space, and looks great! The ice cubes themselves are consistently solid and clear, not small clumps or half formed pieces like cheaper ice makers I’ve tried before. Another thing I appreciate is how quiet it runs. Even in a small space, we barely notice it working, which is amazing compared to other ice makers that sound like a jackhammer. Cleaning and maintenance are also straightforward, with easy to remove pieces and helpful instructions. If you’re running a restaurant, bar, office, or home kitchen and need something reliable that you’re not constantly refilling, this ice maker is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Over all, this is a good ice maker that makes ice quickly and plenty of it. However, the installation is not "D.I.Y. Friendly" for the average person. The installation instructions are severely lacking in detail and accuracy, and the tubing/water lines that come with it don't make much sense. There was a piece of tubing that wasn't even needed or used, water line lengths and fittings weren't correct. Then there is the external drain pump - it came with absolutely ZERO instructions of any kind and the drain tube from the ice maker doesn't fit onto the pump. They included a "connector" of sorts, but it was not at all the right piece to use and certainly would have leaked had I tried to use it. I had to go to a box store and buy additional pieces/parts in order to be able to hook up the drain pump and ensure that it doesn't leak. There was 1 video in the photo gallery for the product that helped a little bit in regard to the drain pump, but the video showed a different drain tube/fittings than what actually came with it. So, as i said, as far as the ice maker itself it has been a good product so far but just know that installation may be challenging.

This ice machine is fantastic, They quantity of ice it produces is amazing. It makes sheets of square cubes that fits perfectly in your glass. The only thing that could improve is the noise level but it’s not bad and easy to get used to. I would recommend this ice machine.

It worked great for 6 months, then stopped working.

Great product, well packaged, easy to follow instructions with easy set up. Priced right. Ice has adjustable thickness. As an ice muncher, I love it. Recommend

Seems to be a good unit and makes what I think is a good size ice but doesnt have a pump so I had to buy one to install on it
