This AC did nothing more than act as a fan. The filter on the back that was supposed to be wet by the ice cold water always turned bone-dry, even after manually soaking it. We ending up returning it.

2 stars only because I feel bad giving it a 1 star. This is a FAN. This does not blow cold or even cooled air whatsoever. The idea is a tube pulls ice water from a tank and empties it above a filter. The filter is supposed to get drenched in cold water, so when the air is pulled from the back of the unit, it passes through the cold soaked filter and then blows chilled air into the room. It does not do this with any level of efficacy at all. The water tube sucks water out of the tank as such a slow pace that it barely drips the water into the filter, so the air passing through isn’t cooled at all. This is a glorified fan with an absolutely useless water tank at the bottom. Save your water, save your ice, save your time, save your money, and don’t even consider buying this product. I’ll be returning it tomorrow after using it for barely half a day.

Remote that comes with the unit is cheap and never worked, I even changed the battery. Water container on the unit has a hose attached so you can't remove the container to empty the water, you have to carry the entire unit to somewhere that you can tip it over so that the water pours out. Whatever the temperature of the water that is in the container is how cool the air that blows out will be. It comes with 4 freezer packs that you place in the water container in order for it to blow out cool air. Using only two freezer packs hardly cooled off the small office room it was placed in. Maybe using chilled water with the 4 freezer packs would make it more effective? I returned them since it's way to much hassle to use in an office environment.

This portable air conditioner is one of the best purchases I have made this year. It is light, so it can be moved around the house with ease. It is the perfect size. I use it at night and it cools the bedroom perfectly. Highly recommend!

Doesn't blow cold air. Waste of money

Blows strong but i bought 3 or 4 and had to send them back, because the pump is broken or the outlet is jammed.

My AC went out and it really did not help more than the traditional fan. It did work and it was easy to use so I gave it 3 stars, just not very cold at all. It seemed to be built well wand the remote feature was nice.

For the price, it works well for a small room.
