Very good small drone . Sharp images easy to fly. It's a little twitchy on the up and down camera moves. It takes getting used to but not bad.

Drone arrived on time and is surprisingly really good. There was a problem with the battery that customer service immediately addressed by shipping a new battery that works just fine and lasts as long as advertised. I also bought an additional battery. This was my first drone and it hooked me right into the hobby. Easy and fun to fly as long as you start up each time in the correct sequence, meaning you should first power on the drone, then power on the controller and let them self sync (takes like 45 seconds or so), and only then should you plug in your phone. I bought a bunch of extra propellers that I haven't had the need to use as I haven't ever crashed it. The gimbal is a bit hard to adjust until you get used to it, you must learn to just nudge the controller quickly to get the correct angle. The camera takes very good videos and stills. I've since bought more expensive drones but I still use this one for daring missions that I don't put the more expensive ones into. I have about a hundred hours or so of great fun with it and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to dip their toes into the hobby without breaking the bank.

Drone is very stable and capable. Easy to fly for beginners. Great camera as well. Battery life is as expected, approx 20 minutes with minimal wind. If I could improve it at all, I'd add mechanical image stabilization. I would consider this a moderate range beginner drone. Much more than a kids toy, less than professional.

While this drone is a good introduction to the hobby (it is the first drone I have owned) and the photos and video are exceptional, it has one big flaw that has, disappointingly, not been addressed with a firmware fix. The motor that controls the tilting of the camera is ridiculously fast. In only about 1/2 second of pushing the lever on the controller to either tilt up or tilt down, the camera will go all the way from 0 degrees to 90 degrees. This means that the only way to get a partial tilt of the camera is to flick and release the lever as quickly as humanly possible. How this got past quality control is a mystery to me. While I continue to hope for an eventual firmware update to the controller to implement a slower tilt control, another issue has come up, which has prompted me to write this negative review. After having owned this drone for only 9 months, and used it for perhaps only 10 days during that time, I just noticed today when I went to charge the battery, that it has swollen and no longer fits into the drone's battery cavity, not to mention that it is no longer safe to charge to begin with. And it turns out that the warranty provided by Holy Stone is only 30 days after purchase. And a new battery is $60. On paper, this would appear to be a great feature-rich entry-level drone. In practice, not so much. Buyer beware.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the HS360E and it is an amazing drone for a beginner and hobbist. It takes great quality photos and Videos. I was nervous to take it to max altitude of 395 ft but it was rock solid and had no connectivity issues. It is very stable in flight and can handle a slight breeze like it isn't even there. I look forward to learning with this drone as it will be a great confidence builder for a beginning pilot and I hope it lasts as it will probably be my go to drone even when I decide to go to one with headless mode and 360° obstacle avoidance. For a beginner on a budget this little machine can't be beat.

Connectivity is good, great pictures and videos. For the money you cant go wrong

This has been an awesome drone for my 7 year old. We spend a lot of quality time. This is our second Holy Stone drone. The company seems to provide big value for your money. Our favorite upgrades are the connection from the drone to the remote. The GPS connection was iffy on our previous drone. However, this drone links up and calibrates with the GPS within seconds no matter what might be interfering. Also, I love that we don't have to connect to my phone's Wifi wit this drone. We did learn when we first got the drone that we couldn't use an old, slower phone to connect with the drone because it created a 10-30 second lag in the video feed. However, once I connected my current phone the video feed works without any lag every time.

I found it very finicky to even get it to start up. You have to spin the thing vertically and horizontally to calibrate the gps — every single time you turn it on. The gps doesn’t connect reliably so you can’t get it to lift off. All it does is beep at you. The screen on the handheld controller is so dim it’s impossible to see outdoors. The phone holder seems to be designed to push all of the buttons on my iPhone at the same time no matter how I adjust it. And the camera quality is 1/2k at best, no where near 4k resolution.
