poor quality---glue on product failed before the goods were delivered to me
they are wooden shoe trees with parts glue on but the glue had failed so all I got were the parts --which I will attempt to glue and clamp

Best deal out there to protect your dress shoes!
These are a real bargain! They work perfect. Excellent product. I bought 2 sets so far. Had to glue the knobs on to a couple of them but no problem considering the bargain price.

Not great in both build or quality
I thought these shoe trees might be a decent replacement for a good quality cedar shoe tree but these fall short. The wood stem portion of it is glued together and a little tension caused the end wood piece to just fall off. I was able to sand the pieces and then use some wood glue to glue it all back together but it does not make me feel comfortable on how durable this is and if it will last. The shoe tree markets it as cedar wood but it product page it shows that it is made of pine which is what I assume it was with the illustration picture of the product. I eventually used it on a pair of sneakers as the notches didn't do a good job fitting my boot size of 8 (no real tension). But honestly I have no need for it to be on a pair of sneakers so it really isn't getting much real use.

Works as intended
I collect shoes and need shoe trees constantly. These are good quality, a little flimsy but they work as intended. Good value and fit the shoes well.

Wooden Shoe Trees: Budget-Friendly with Design and Quality Considerations
Let me preface by stating I don’t enjoy leaving neutral/negative feedback in the form of a review. I know firsthand how hard businesses work to get their products on the market, and reviews are crucial to success. But, neutral/negative feedback is given for a reason. And in this case, it’s because the end-user (me) feels the design and quality could be improved. And the shoe trees weren’t even fully assembled when I received them.DesignAs to the design, rather than being integrated into the tree, the heel block is a small separate piece of wood that I’m assuming is held in place with glue. When you consider the heel block is under constant pressure inside the shoe, plus the repeated stress from pulling the tree in and out of the shoes, the heel block could eventually detach. Gluing it back into place would be a quick fix, but it’s something to consider.QualityAs to quality, the shoe trees that were sent to me weren’t even finished. The small wooden heel blocks were never attached (as you can see in the image). My husband said he could glue them to the back and hope for the best, but that’s not the point. Customers should never be sent unfinished products that they need to repair or finish themselves, and having to return items is time-consuming for the consumer and a loss for the seller/manufacturer.Not My First (Shoe Tree) RodeoMy husband and I have used wooden shoe trees for years. They seem like an added expense when you’re already paying a boatload for a good pair of shoes, but they really do pay for themselves. Between the two of us, we probably have about 40 wooden shoe trees of various designs and quality. We know and use them, so I feel qualified to give feedback in this regard. Bottom line, sellers and manufacturers need to know what’s working and what’s not working. And in this instance, quality control was lacking and the design could be inherently weak.SUMMARYHaving said all this, if the price point is very attractive to you, and you’re not taking your shoe trees in and out all that frequently, these could be a good buy and an investment in preserving the longevity of your footwear.

Very poor quaility
Quality of shoe tree is poor. Returned damaged pair that was replaced. The replaced pair was damaged. Haven't returned because will attempt to fix, e.g. knob on back end of tree was totally disconnected the same as originally ordered pair. Given original cost of item, e.g. $10, just isn't worth my time anymore to worry about returning item.

Super Cedar Shoe Tree
It was a little confusing how to put it in, but I also tried it on boots first. I eventually got it in and left it for a few days and it worked great. When I put it on shoes, it was much easier and continued to do the job. I like that it's made of cedar. This is worth the money.
