Southern Hummingbird by Tweet

Fantastic album, no need to skip tracks with this album, everyone’s an absolute gem. I originally bought this album way back in 2002, but needed a replacement. Tweet is sensational, one of the best female vocalists in the last twenty years in my book.

This is a mix of hip hop and old school tyor of music and some soothing ballads. Still a very enjoyable CD to listen to.

The warm sweet soft vocals of Charlene Keys aka TWEET! She truly is a song bird. Her best work to date and truly a must have.

I decided to buy the physical copy of this album after 20 years. This album is soulful. Tweet's voice is so calm and captivating. Oops does not represent the whole album, the songs are so diverse but each has its own soulful quality in it. The best tracks are Smoking CIgaretes, Motel, Best Friend.

Auf die CD bin ich aufmerksam geworden, da ich das wohl bekannteste Lied "Oops, oh my" sehr gerne höre. Nachdem ich ins Album reingehört hatte, musste ich es mir besorgen. Southern Hummingbird bietet Abwechslung - einige Balladen zum entspannten Zuhören und einige Partysongs bei denen es schwerfällt, sich ruhig zu halten. Meiner Ansicht nach ein rundum gelungenes Album mit einer tollen Sängerin, die eine sehr weiche, soulige und klare Stimme hat. Auch wenn die CD schon länger existiert, ist sie immernoch eine lohnende Anschaffung.

最近の洋楽で最もハマった一枚です。「Oops」などキャッチーな曲もかなりツボですが、バラードが最高に美しくて鳥肌モノ!! 日本盤ボーナストラックもかなり良い曲で、買って損はないと思います。歌も相当ウマい。Alicia KeysやAshantiは暗くてちょっと…という方には特におすすめ。R&Bが好きじゃない人でも楽しめますよ。
