After famously playing their second show at Woodstock in August 1969, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young spent the rest of the year touring and writing songs for what would become CSNY’s 1970 debut, Déjà Vu. Live at Fillmore East, 1969 is a newly discovered multi-track recording of the band’s September 20, 1969, concert at the historic Fillmore East in New York City captures an early moment from that first tour. Including both Acoustic and Electric sets, as well as hit tracks such as "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes", "Our House", "I've Loved Her So Long", etc. and will be released October 25. Review: Very well worthadding to your collection - Having played this several more times, I have altered my review. It is very well worth having in your collection, especially if you like the electric part, which I aways loved. Review: Great Record! Eletric and Acoustic Live performances with awesome Sound Quality - I wont be evaluating the band or songs, as that should be already known by the buyers like me, but the Sound Quality of this record for 1969, is quite awesome! if you like CSNY, don't hesitate. this is a great live record with 2 discs, onbe eletric and another acoustic sessions.

The first tentative steps
This is a wonderful artefact. The first tentative steps to absolute superstar dome. It's like you are there, real live. It lacks the poise and at times the power of the following years performances that made up 4 Way Street, but it's a must for fans, to hear the music, the love, the feel.

CSNY at their best
Anyone who knows the history of CSN&Y, will love their incredible harmonies, but on later recordings the harmonies were not so good as the effects of drugs, alcohol and age took there toll. Here we have the boys at the very start and man is it good! two songs stand out for me, 'Go back home' and 'Blackbird'. Both are acoustic, 'Go back home' was new to me in this format, but it works! 'Blackbird' has never been my favourite CSN&Y cover tune, but here it makes sense as the harmonies are spot on! On the electric set it's great to have a pristine version of Neil Youngs 'Sea of madness' a song I've love since I first heard it on a bootleg in the early 1970's. A great collection of songs, familiar yes, but maybe they never sounded better than on this album! If you love CSNY, buy this album!

Nostalgic sounds from the past
Great album , can't go wrong with CSNY really Sound is pretty good considering it's from 1969 Lots of great albums from various artists emerged around those early 69/70 years One of these albums you need to listen from start to finish DO agree with some other reviews & prefer 4Way Street --- memories 👍

Supreme talent and relative innocence make for a special night.
An unexpected treat. I expected this to be good but it's excellent - lending insight into the songs that have become iconic over time. Stills and Young are in great voice, especially. But this is a live recording that proves how much fun the artists were having in the beginning, if not for longer.

Una auténtica delicia.
Un disco excepcional de una banda sin igual en su mejor momento. Una auténtica fantasía de armonías vocales y guitarras, la acústica de Still y los 16 minutos eléctricos de Young en Down by the River.
