Nokia X3-02 Sim Free Mobile Phone - Dark Metal/Graphite

Had this phone for 8 months already, it was stolen (watch your pockets in Madrid!) and I immediately ordered another one - the first time I have ever done that. It's not an all-singing all-dancing smart phone, sort of a nice semi-smart phone. What's nice about it is the ability to use a physical number pad for texting, and have the convenience of a touch screen for zipping through menus and looking through photos. The camera, though only 5 megapixels and with no flash takes surprisingly respectable pictures. The phone is solidly built, not too heavy, very thin so slips into jeans pockets nicely, and is really rather handsome in graphite black. If you're used to the Nokia interface like myself, then it's really very intuitive to use, though it is nothing even close to an i-phone, and does not pretend to be: the OVI store is pretty rubbish, this is not a phone for people who like to collect apps, but the applications it comes with are fine (and of course, being an unlocked version, mercifully free of "bloatware"). The battery life is decent, wifi browsing works well in the Opera browser (though of course the screen, though very nice, is about the size of a matchbox) and the sound is very at both ends. All in all it's a great phone for the price, most certainly does what it says on the tin, and as someone who has owned several Nokias over the years it is a classic Nokia phone.

just want I was looking for. good phone to handle, but you have to make sure that the battery is full otherwise the touch screen does not work properly.

A really good value for money Nokia which combines the best of touch screen and key pad technology. I didn't want to go the whole hog and get a touchscreen and I also wanted to stay with Nokia to which brand I have been loyal for 10 years. I just like the way their menus are configured. Only gripe would be that scrolling is a little oversensitive and tends to overrun the options. I also don't know why the recharging point is at the top of the phone instead of the bottom making it a bit cumbersome to talk whilst unit is charging. Unit is lovely and light and slim but I would question how robust it is going to be? I expect a mobile to last at least 18 months and I'm not sure this is up to it. All in all, I'd give it a 9/10 if you want reasonable build quality and a phone that does what it says on the tin.

i have been a great, loyal fan of nokia ever since i owned my first ever mobile and never owned any other brand. this product was good for everything except that the sound was not clear...i always felt with this piece somewhat speard-out sound. since mobile's prime requirement is being a 'phone', i returned it with a heavy heart. i have now bought htc wildfire s. i feel sorry for nokia and hope they can create good phones asap with all of their trademark features.

Sent back as it wasn't as described. the seller did apologise and I was able to return. Sadly, I was inconvenienced and was dismayed at what was received.
