Great Purchase. Worth every penny!
Honestly, I was a bit worried because of the analysis of price vs features vs brand. I was mostly satisfied with my previous one of a "big brand," but my wife was not happy because it did not come with a metal insert. And, of course, we all have our prejudices - and I have a wife with a crapload of those!Well, she went on a trip, and I had no cricket on my shoulder... so I took a chance! he-he-he-he!! (drumroll, please!)It honestly SEEMS a bit pricey, I will not deny that. YET, when comparing features, its HUGE capacity, the "stainless steel insert," it came very much cheaper than the main-brand ones. Now, I am honestly not sure if it is stainless steel. However, I have had this now for... let me do math here... the root square of... add the cosene... and dividied by Saturn's PI... IDK... 2 months? I am super impressed!I generally use it for rice. but not just boring white rice. I make rice with beans, rice with meat, sticky rice, basmati rice... and I recently used the pressure-cooking feature. It works just as, or better than, advertised!Only features that that are slightly annoying is that you have to press the one button a bunch of times until you get to the function you desire, and that I still have not figured out how to change the time once I engage the function. To be fair, for the latter, I have not opened the instructions manual (of course, I am a guy!), but I honestly have not needed it - it was mostly a curiosity. I will just let the wife figure it out in... 4 weeks, when the peace is over in the house! Sigh...Caution: DO NOT leave it unattended. IT WILL overcook your items! Because of the metal insert, it conducts heat very well! Its warming option is very, VERY effective. Honestly, just shut it down and leave the lid closed if you want to keep the food warm for another hour or so, then reheat it as necessary. You will also save on power.Lastly, something that never quite fit with the previous electric cooker we had. I had obtained a third-party silicone cover/lid for it, and it never quite fit. It FITS PERFECTLY for this! I wish I remembered where the heck I got it, but it is great now, whereas it was just meh back then.Something I wish it had was a way to easily lift the insert while it was still hot. I happen to have some hook-like thingys that easily attach to the insert sides, but I wish they came with it. But that is it. I love this!Anyway, GREAT purchase. Obviously, I have used it quite enough.

Great cooker that works well.
I've used this cooker many times now and I love it. It works and isn't all fancy with to many buttons and a display screen that connects to the internet. It has the buttons it needs and works. The stainless inner pot is nice and heavy and dishwasher safe. There's no nonstick garbage to flake off and make you buy another cooker.

This Crockpot was a Major Disappointment
My wife bought this approx. 4 months ago and really wishes she hadn't. I'm writing this because I encouraged her to buy. She bought it to replace a U.S. made Farberware crockpot that also worked very well as a pressure cooker. Unfortunately she dropped the heavy ceramic pot which fits inside the pot. This latest crockpot does nothing well except chicken broth. She had placed 1 LB. of of pre-seasoned birria beef (small cuts of brisket with the fat) in it at noon. It's now 4:30 and nowhere near ready-to-eat. She now has it in a heavy cast iron pot on the stove at low heat. We're eating burgers tonight and perhaps tomorrow we'll have birria.
