Bought for my 3 year old Thomas fan and it's a hit! He loves playing with the engines and there's a good selection; the play mat is useful too. Good value for money.

Liked this, a chance for a young child who likes trains to develop imagination with the mat, trains and a bit of a story for the parents to chat to them about. Could be improved by making the book part a short introduction to each train, but still value for money vs inspiration.

Bought this as a present for my 2 year old daughters friend as she has the Disney princess one and they love it. The mat it comes with can also be used for other toys etc. the pieces are quite small so wouldn't leave them unsupervised but overall great gift
