Brilliant for Entry Level
This is classed as Creality's entry level resin printer, but that is only because of its size and resolution. The R6 has a 6" (approx) LCD screen with around 2K resolution. The two printers above this have 10" screens and higher resolution. The R6 shares WiFi printing with its biggest brother, which allows you to launch nd monitor prints from the Creality Cloud app - an essential download, I would say.The printer comes with a free premium membership of Chitu Box - 3 months - which is a resin slicing package. You can also obtain Halot Box from the Creality website, which is a free slicer. The manual is pretty good for walking you through initial setup . Printing is very straightforward. Set your resin options in the slicing software, add the resin, replace the cover, choose your file and print. I use WiFi, but there is an option to print from USB, indeed a test file is provided on the included USB stick. Then wait - nothing happens quickly in 3D.My only real criticism of the R6 is the size of the LCD touchscreen. It is responsive and easy enough to navigate, but it is very small. The print states screen includes the information you would want, but it is very small.Overall, this is a fantastic printer, at a great price.

excellent printer
I'm a seasoned FDM printer but new to resins. Having used Creality FDM printers and found them to be good for home use, I decided to try their resin offerings.I am not sorry I did this as the Halot 1 is a a very good choice. The machine has a small footprint and is very easy to use. Setup is simple and connecting veto WIFI an obsolute doddle. The touch screen is clear and easy to use. Everything is laid out well and the icons are clear and easy to understand. Sliced models are loaded via a memory stick or WiFi, I find the memory stick simple and convenient. Printing is relatively fast and yhe quality of detail is very good.I have used Elegoo water washable resin and with this the smell is certainly there but not too bad. With no other resin experience I do not know if the built in sir filter makes a difference or not.You will need to purchase resin as none us supplied and some plastic scrapers are recommended as the metal one supplied with the machine is too sharp for the plastic base and could easily damage it.All in all I have found this printer to be an excellent choice and recommend it to anyone, beginner or experienced.

Good but....
It's very easy to set up and print. Build quality is good.Be aware if this is your first printer, replacing the FEP (the clear film on the bottom of the resin tray is fiddly and the build quality of the tray isnt the best, and for some reason it doesn't read the usb drive.

missing parts, poor bed adhesion no support from creality
About me, I am a retired I.T. Professional, & the guy friend & family go to for tech support I already own an Anycubic Photo Mono resin printer and 2 Ender filament printers and 2 laser engravers, so I am not exactly a novice.HoweverHaving purchased a Halo Mage Pro through Amazon.co.uk, I am having problems getting it to print. I have watched the videos, read the manuals but every print fails.Every pre sliced file on USB stick that came with printer fails, the print does not stick to the bed, (sticking to bath instead) so I just get a lump of resin stuck in the bath. The included software sent “Halot Box keeps crashing so does the “chitubox” software that is subscription, neither of them I can work out how to send files to the printer over wifi (on same wifi network) all the videos I watched don’t seem to relate to what I am seeing on my screen in the software and I see no option to connect to printer! With the included software not stable, I have sliced a file with LycheeSlicer and put it on USB stick, but again it failed, not sticking to the plate. The calibration card that supposed to come with the printer was not present with my printer and Creality’s useless chat support system told me to just use a piece of printer paper, that I did. For everything else she just sent me links to YouTube videos I had already watched or were for a different printer and/or were not relevant to my questions. Sending links to YouTube is NOT support it’s a cop out!Bed levelling, when I did a bed level with a sheet of card, the prints did not stick to print bed, so I did bed level again with sheet of paper (as Creality advised) this time prints stuck to bed and tray. This meant the bed was stuck to tray/bath and could not raise. I eventually had to cancel the print remove screws holding bead to raising arm then prise the bed from the bath/tray, now this I think may have damaged the riser motor is its making a noise and is not smooth. Also missing from the package was the rubber caps for putting over resin bottles when putting the pump pipe inMissing parts:Calibration cardRubber bottle feed caps
