Life-changing piece of hardware
No, really! I don't do video or photo editing at all as advertised, but rather work in IT for software development and troubleshooting. I was able to plug the vast majority of the query sets and lines of code I use day-to-day into this, essentially turning it into an over-powered macro pad. Email templates, key combos, and most other repetitive functions can be plugged into this console to essentially turn tasks into a single button press. Even better, edits can be made on the fly without restarts, so all those little "it would be nice if" moments can be tested and implemented there on the spot. *Everything* can be customized and remapped, and of course it integrates perfectly with all other Logitech MX Master elements. I very highly recommend this even if you don't do editing.

A great start
I've been looking and waiting for this product for 15 years. I've looked at dozens of programmable keypads over the years and found them wanting. My use case for it is mostly Figma and VS Code. The MX Creative Console was primarily designed with Adobe products in mind... but I abandoned Adobe years ago when they decided they preferred to drain my bank account monthly instead of every 3 or 4 years when I needed or wanted to upgrade. But this product works great for my use case. The only downside for my specific uses is that I have to program each button. Adobe products have preprogrammed starters. But I'm sure VS Code and Figma will be added by Logitech in the future. But that said - once programmed, I love that each button has an icon and words displayed that tell me what they are programmed to do. I love also that you can color code them. And I particularly love that as soon as I start to work in any of my applications the buttons automatically switch over to the profile for that particular... or the desktop default.I also like that there are lots of application specific icons to choose from for each button. And that each application can have several pages. There's still a couple of glitches which I expect Logitech to fix... like today, changing the text size on the buttons doesn't work . The ability to do it is built in, but there's a bug in software. For Logitech, if you are reading this - I don't like that the button console has to be hard wired directly into the USB-c port of my computer. The Creative Console did not work using a USB-c port on my docking station ... nor did it work using a USB-a port with a USB-a to USB-c cable. Actually, I would prefer no wires at all. Also they way you size and center icons and text on the buttons when programming them can be improved. That said - this product is a home run for me.

SOLID macro controllers from Logitech. But that app, huh??
The Logi Options+ app for MacOS is so nearly helpful it will trick you, then leave you furious and confused as the excitement of using these really great hardware macro controllers leaves your body. The hardware is solid, well-built and, aside from the keypad's angle stand, which might slide around a bit, leaving you a bit cranky... but aside from that the hardware feels amazing. The knob turns super smooth and fluid, the buttons press well and don't feel cheap or poorly executed. The reviews on Youtube were pretty accurate, and I sure hope that Logitech realizes at some point that the software failure will lose the faith of the community in their hardware, which has historically been great.Logitech, ask your hardware team what THEY think of the software and listen to what drives them nuts. Then literally just reach out to anyone in the community that has developed apps, UX, UI, and understands what the competition is doing that is stealing market share. I am resisting the urge to just customize controls with my other control apps and want this to succeed and for the Logi-whatever+ app to grow and avoid stagnation. Let's GO.

Hardware great, software feels like it's in 1st draft form
The hardware is spot on, for good design. The software leaves much to be desired with bugs that were easily detected within the first hour of usage.1st bug I discovered: I attempted to change the Font Size, on the "Edit icon" section, and it doesn't change the font size and keeps the font size on something quite small. See attached photos.2nd bug I discovered: When assigning to a specific key, the "Multi-action (macro)", I attempted to copy a "Key Stroke" step, so for example, I put the letter "H" as a Key Stroke and then duplicated that Key Stroke H step. But then I would change the duplicated step from an "H" to an "A" and it just wouldn't take. I've confirmed that I hit "Save" at the end. It would pretend like I changed it to an "A", but then after I saved and exited out of that section, I would go back and it seemed to revert from the "H" to the "A". So the "duplicate" feature doesn't seem to work. If I create a new key stroke and put "A", that seems to work. I'm surprised this wasn't figured out and fixed on testing before the product went to market. Though, I've noticed a lot of tech companies just put out half-done products and expect the users to point out the bugs. Kinda annoying, but it is what it is.Features issues: I bought this product because I liked the programming software of the MX keyboard. I had created a number of "Smart Actions" on the MX keyboard in the Logi + software and thought I could just assign the "Smart Actions" already created to the Creative Console. No can do. This is another infuriating thing about tech companies is different teams create different products and the silo'ed approach is clunky....when personally, I say it creates a better user experience if Logi + means of programming the MX keys is the same as the Creative Console. So I can't use "Smart Actions" already created in MX keys and assign those to the Creative Console. If I had known this, I would have bought a higher rated macro key product, since I thought I could use my already created Smart Actions. Can't copy over Macros from one key to another. Seems like a basic feature should be to be able to copy a multi-key stroke macro and paste to another key. You can Cut & Paste, but not Copy. I, like many other users, will have Macros where the first 5 keystrokes are the same but the last 2 are different, and being able to copy and then tweak is important.I wish the wheel scroll was clicky instead of all smooth. That's my only hardware complaint.
