My cats and I both love the HHOLOVE self-cleaning litter box. As an owner of eight cats, I have tried at least five different brands of self-cleaning litter boxes of which HHOLOVE outperforms all of them. In my cat room, which is occupied by five of the eight cats ranging in size from exceptionally large to an average size 11 months year old kitten, there are three automatic litter boxes in the room. The litter box that the cats use the most is HHOLOVE. HHOLOVE’s entrance height is easily accessible for both large and small cats. The cleaning process, after the cat exits the drum, ensures that the waste is properly filtered and disbursed into the waste receptacle which is in the back. To help control the odor the receptacle has a slot that holds a scented gel that absorbs the smell. The litter box comes with two scented gels. As an added benefit, the litter box also comes with a grill plastic platform mat that has a removable lid. The platform catches loose litter as the cats enter and exit the box. To help keep the mat clean, I put inside of the platform an absorption pad because I have two cats that sometimes like to urinate with their rear ends facing outward. The absorption pad in the platform catches and traps the urine. This allows me to easily dispose of the soiled pad and keep the platform clean at the same time. In addition to loving the litter box, I appreciate the phone app which tells you when the waste receptacle is full and needs cleaning. The app also gives you daily coin points that can be used to acquire supply items like waste bags and scented gels for the receptacle. Over time I was able to accumulate enough coins to purchase sixty waste bags and only had to pay for the shipping cost, which was must less than purchasing the bags from an online retailer. Finally, there is customer support, which is great! The sensors on the drum of the automatic litter box were causing it to continuously spin in the cleaning cycle mode without stopping. On the app, I used the communication support link to text my problems to customer support. As part of our communication, I provided photos and videos of how the drum was malfunctioning. It is through this process, customer support found that the sensors, which somehow became rusty, were causing the problem. To compensate for this mishap, support sent me a replacement drum within two weeks of my complaint. Since getting the drum, the box has been working fine without any problems. My cats and I are happy. My whole experience using this product gets a five-star rating! Note Amazon: This is the 2nd time submitting this exact review. For reasons unknown it wasn’t posted.

Must buy! Cheaper than litter robot but same or even better design and quality. The shipping was expected to be 5-10 days but it arrived at the 5th day which is faster than I thought. Came in secure packaging and easy to carry by only two hands. The manual for installation is easy to follow. I put it at the corner near my balcony, and it even came with an air refresher in the collection section to help eliminate the odor. I have been using it for 3 days and it still smells clean. The litter box started cleaning the litter after my cat has left for around 5mins and you can customize when to clean after your pet leaves the litter box by using the setting to adjust the timeframe from the app. The litter box is cute and big enough for my two cats. It comes with a roll of trash bag so that I don’t have to buy bags separately. It totally makes my life easier!! My cats love using it and I love to have such a little box at home! Worth to buy!

Terrible Product! This product has been nothing but trouble and frustration. The bottom net loses its shape quickly, and doesn’t stay in place.” After only two months it stops mid-cycle every time because litter falls into the rear waste bin and then drops down into the gear area that turns the drum. The buildup requires removing the drum, disassembling the unit, vacuuming litter out of the gears, and reassembling. Now is a year and no longer turns to clean up. It also dumps litter out the front during emptying despite the tray, so there’s a mess even when I fill only to the max line. If you don’t empty the bin the instant it says it’s full, the unit backs up and makes an even bigger mess. The design is poor and has cost me far more time and money than scooping a regular box daily and emptying once a week. I used the recommended litter and am going through three times as much because so much is lost out the front and inside the machine. The company’s only advice was to keep taking it apart and vacuuming the gears. I don’t have time for that. Save your money—research other options with better design.

I love this Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box from HHOLOVE it comes with waste bags and a litter-catcher hard plastic mat, that was easy to clean and maintained. I bought this in December of 2024 as a gift to my beloved cat, and has gone scoop-free ever since. My cat loves that his box is always clean. You can use the app to initiate the cleaning or you can just press the button on the front to trigger a cleaning. The only thing I would change is getting one that has a door to keep cat out of the box while cleaning in progress because my cat tends to want to fight the machine once cleaning is in progress, slapping at the poop as its rolling across the conveyer. I wish I had a video to share but the truth is I'm never there to capture the moment.

Trial & error, be patient. I made adjustments based on customer service recommendations, ie the kind and level of litter, etc. Customer service was exceptional, very responsive, polite, and saved me from returning the unit. My 2 cats use it, uses less litter, much better odor control, and no litter on the floor (than a litter pan) especially when I’m away. Cats prefer a clean space and this cleans after each use. The app is good for peace of mind when I’m away. The robot is so quiet and controls odor, I rely on the app for my cat’s usage. The unit is bigger than I expected, takes a large space for access to the bin in the back, the outlet in the side, and the front access. The cord is too short but works ok with an extension cord. Feces does sometimes get smeared around but quickly wipes clean with white vinegar. After 2 months (and a 6 day trip away) I easily disassembled and washed the entire unit. Cats like clean so being diligent with the occasional vinegar wipe reduces the need for full wash down. I’m happy with this product and hope it lasts a long time (3 months in use so far).

I looked at self cleaning litter boxes for over a year. Compared and read reviews. I took the leap on this one. Price point and features is what sold me on this one. I received it sooner than expected which was a plus. Unboxing: The box was huge, not going to lie. It was super easy to put together. Just put the inner tub in, place the top on, put the liner/bag in, slide the back in and plug in. App: Yes, you must the app for the litter box to operate. It has the cats information in it. It is how you will completely empty the litter box. Easy to set up and use. You do not have to have the notifications on. Side Note: You must put the litter box on a hard surface for it to operate. I had it on carpet at first and it did not "scoop". After reading the instructions further it tells you not to put it on carpet because of the sensor on the bottom. I had a few leftover pieces of flooring and made a section in the area the litter box and it works perfect. The box is not too loud when scooping. If she goes in the box while it is scooping it does stop. Transition: My little girl had no real issues transitioning from the old box to the this one. I left the other one set up next to this one for about a week. She likes to watch it while it is scooping so it does stop in the middle of scooping it. She thought it was a toy at first. The only thing I wish was different about this box is the waste bin. It seems a little small but it does hold a lot. I change it about once every 10 days for 1 cat. When I say small I mean narrow, not wide enough, but I have had no issues with it. Been using the box now for about a month and half.

I’ve been using this for a month and there are pros and cons. We have one larger cat (14 lbs) and one medium (9 lbs). They both eat, drink and eliminate frequently. I chose this box because of the low entry point (it was the only one I could find low enough for my senior cats). The larger cat took to the box right away, the smaller one only started using it regularly when we removed our old manual box, so not too rough a transition. The main pros are: no kneeling and scooping EVERY day. Easy to set up and functions as advertised. App works fine for me so far. Cats have a place to eliminate that is clean enough because it gets scooped after every use (this is maybe the best thing about it, as I want my cats to be happy and I know they like having clean litter to use every time). The cons are: the thing is impossible to thoroughly clean. And it NEEDS to be emptied and cleaned regularly because waste, especially if it’s not totally clumped/dried, can get smeared on the inside when it cycles. We use expensive high quality litter and have never had an issue previously, so I’m not sure trying a different litter would matter. I’ve disassembled (as much as I can) and tried to thoroughly clean twice in a month and no matter how much I rinse and wipe, the thing just has smears of waste/litter stuck in every crevice and hard to reach place (there are several). I’ve probably spent at least three hours just cleaning it, which honestly probably negates the time not scooping daily is saving me. The second biggest issue I have is that it doesn’t really stand up to two cats medium/large size who eliminate as frequently as mine do. I was hoping I’d get at least 3-4 days (knowing the 7 the advertise for two cats was a pipe dream), but in reality, I have to take it out every other day. If I don’t, the waste gets backed up in the cylinder and it’s a mess. SO, overall, I think for a household with one medium cat, or two smaller cats that don’t have the big appetite my cats do, this might work well IF you are monitoring it carefully and don’t let the waste bin actually get full (it really needs to be taken out before the notification will tell you or you risk a backed up mess). Also, I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the reduction of smelliness from my old manual boxes to this one. That’s not that big a deal for me, as there’s just really no way to totally manage the smell of two animals regularly pooping and peeing indoors. BUT, it is a little annoying that even after I’ve disassembled and cleaned it, a faint urine smell just sticks to the plastic. I’m keeping it for the fact that it seems better for my cats wellbeing overall to have a freshly scooped space to go every time, but the convenience factor of cleaning less with an automatic box isn’t really there for me.

I’ve had this for over a year and it’s been a great cat box for our cats. Cats switched over to it easily. Place the box Next to the other basic box and they quickly started to use it. Phone app works great, records when the box is used, at what time and if your cats weigh different weights, you’l know which cat visited. Waste drawer is in back so you need to be able to fully slide that out, same as the box width, and that can limit where you want to place the box. Very easy to clean and I do not notice any odors. Love the compact size and not too big opening. Other brands in the market here too big, took up too much space and were very high in cost. I’m very glad I found this brand and gave it a try. It’s been everything I wanted and I no longer dread cleaning the cat box. I highly recommend.

From the beginning, on crowdfunding campaign, which was where I met the brand and gained a huge interest in following it and buying its products. It was a game changer for those who have animals! Avec deux chats à la maison, j’étais en quête de quelque chose qui puisse vraiment me simplifier la vie, améliorer l’hygiène de l’appartement, et surtout garder une atmosphère sans odeur. Et mission accomplie 🎯 🐱 Mes deux chats ont adopté la machine J’avais un peu peur de leur réaction… mais finalement, l’un s’est adapté immédiatement, l’autre a mis environ 3 jours, et depuis ils l’utilisent tous les deux sans aucun souci. Je n’ai pas eu besoin de beaucoup de transition : la curiosité a fait le travail ! 😸 🧹 Avant / Après : plus de grains partout ! Avant, j’utilisais deux bacs classiques, avec des tapis censés retenir les grains… sauf que j’en retrouvais quand même partout sur le sol : dans le couloir, dans la chambre, parfois même sur le canapé. Depuis que j’ai cette machine, le sol est impeccablement propre. Les grains ne sortent plus du bac, et franchement, visuellement c’est un gros soulagement. ⏳ Un gain de temps énorme Avant : je nettoyais les deux bacs matin et soir (oui, 2 fois par jour !). Einfache Installation & reibungsloser Betrieb Die Katzentoilette ließ sich sehr leicht zusammenbauen, die Anleitung war klar verständlich. Auch das Auseinandernehmen zur Reinigung ist unkompliziert.
