SOOOO Much Better Than Hand Written Index Tabs!
We've finally gotten to a point in life where we have....a file cabinet. With that comes too many hanging file folders and documents that need to be easily identifiable. Something has always bothered me about the hand written labels we've used up until now. They look so unprofessional.I LOVE these printable tabs from Redi-Tag! They work great with our laser printer, and now all of our index tabs are clear, easy to read, and look really nice! The assortment of colors helps make it even easier to find something in the file cabinet.A total game changer for our file organization. If you're as OCD as us, you'll love these!

Fabulous, printable, strong-adhering tabs!
Sometimes I feel out of control at the office, subject to the bureaucracy as it is. Little items like this bring me a sense of control and order. I chose these for the shear number you get for the price...and love them for their quality and ease of use. I have to move personalized folders in and out of a safe with frequency, being able to quickly personalize and then identify them in a pile is important--and these permit me to do just that. Due to the heavy rotation they are subject to, I rarely print them on the printer, preferring to hand-write on the tabs--but they work perfectly well both ways. I appreciate that they're very durable while still remaining flexible and thin, so they can put up with a lot of manipulation and being knocked by the file cabinet in-and-out action. I highly recommend them!

They work, with limitations
If you are going to handwrite on them, fine. But if you want to feed them through your printer, then a laser printer is a must (as with most printable labels). I use printable labels quite often in my work and am familiar with using templates, so I had no problem with the template. These printable labels are good. They stick well (better than some others) and are colorful. After printing, I let them sit for a minute, so they don't smudge... but I do that with all my labels. I usually print an entire page of the same label, because I make binders for my clients (with the same type of information). So the fact that it states 1 feed only for each sheet, doesn't bother me too much. But if you are looking to do maybe 5 tabs, and then use the same sheet again for another 5 tabs, etc., this product might not be the right one for you. (Although I haven't tried to feed it through a second time, as I have an expensive printer that I don't want to risk ruining.) With the well known brand of labels, I have been able to feed it through multiple times if needed, but those labels are not as sticky as these either. So, there are pros and cons to these labels. I personally like that they are really sticky (more permanent). With the other well known brand, I found myself having to tape the back side of the tab, to prevent it from peeling back up. But I like that the other brand's "tabs" fold over the page, so you can read the label from either side, where these do not.

Useful
I like the different colors of the labels. I found them to be very handy and easy to use. I was able to use the downloadable templates and use them without issue. I will be buying more once I run out.

Permanent Tabs for Laser Printing
High quality tabs! They are permanent, not removable, so it's good to know that as I use them more and more, that there are no worries about them coming loose and needing to be reapplied. The tab will remain firmly in place. Note: Because they are not removable, it's good to pre mark where you want to apply your tabs, because there's no going back!A laser printer is needed to print in these tabs. After printing a sheet, set the page aside and let it 'cure' before using, or even stacking. I checked after a few minutes and they were totally dry and smear proof.

Not a temporary tab
Nice assortment of pastel color tabs that are easy to write on with a pencil or sharpie. What you write shows up since the colors are light. Perfect for organizing papers within files or marking favorite recipes. HOWEVER, they are strong and don't remove easily. Originally I gave these 5 stars, but when I used them on a cook book, they were so strong they ripped the page when I tried to remove one.I thought the Sharpie was working great, but even after ten minutes the sharpie ink smears. Ball point pen does not work at all on the slick plastic tabs. Pencil works great AND erases easily as well. They are great if you want a tab that sticks and doesn't need to be removed. I previously marked some of my receipes with paper stickies as well as the thinner, easily removable, stickies...both of these eventually wrinkled with time and were difficult to read. These tabs don't bend easily so I feel like they will be great for the cookbooks. I didn't try them with a laser printer, but since that's what they are made for, I would assume they'd work. The photos show how the tabs look in my cookbook, how pencil, pen and sharpie show up, and how part of the page sticks to the tab when carefully trying to remove it.
