Looks amazing. It's very responsive and has a lot of features compared to my old Instinct 1 Tactical. I really enjoying wearing this everyday and going on my runs and hikes.

My husband loves this watch. He is physician and wears this every day. He loves the different features. Battery last for days.

Love this watch ! Has a really good price but definitely value for moeny ! Battery life is amazing, brightness is great, connectivity is great and bluetooth calling is very good. Love the design and functionality of this watch. Would definitely recommend to anyone

I have been a Fenix user for many years now. I have a 6 and a 7 and bought this Fenix8 because after a couple of years on the 7, the battery appeared to be losing some power. Haven't explored all the functions of the Fenix 8 yet, but it is somewhat better than the 7. Only disappointment is that I wish Garman would allow a trade in on upgrading. They don't, however. I did do some trading with Samsung for their watches, and it helped in the buying process. However, I use the Garman 99% of the time.. Great watches.................

One cannot change the background color!After owning Solar 6 and 7, which were fully customizable, I bought Solar 8 - only to find out that the black background is the only option.Beware - if you are expecting the same, customizable environment of Phoenix 6 and 7, that is not going to happen with 8 series! I thought that Microsoft products were the worst for removing well-established features, but I stand corrected. Garmin has now joined the same ranks - my guess is out of sheer arrogance: "What does the customer know? We know what he needs better!".What a waste of time and money!

I really like the garmin watch. I love the tracking, how you can easily customize the faces or make your own. I also where the whoop device and the two are very close with heart rate monitoring and step counting. The watch quality is great, built well and feels great. However, if you are looking at getting the solar I would stay away from the 47mm. With the added solar ring it does take away from the watch face. Also, it does not charge very well off the solar. I have noticed as I am outside or even driving, the battery life will pretty much stay at the same percentage. I'm finding I still have to pull it off every couple days and hook it up to a cable.

Love this watch. I purchased the Fenix 8 Solar as I work on the beach, primarily, and it doesn’t disappoint. Easy to navigate, especially once you have a hang of the buttons and their functions. I needed something to keep up with my activities and Garmin Connect is highly detailed as well. Most of my coworkers have a Garmin as and it’s great we can share our progress and goals and challenge one another. There is such detail within each activity and workouts tailored to your individual needs. I wear it for sleep analysis as well and it’s pretty spot on with how rested I feel, in comparison to the sleep quality it analyzes. The alarm and vibration wakes me up right away when other alarms have failed in the past. There too many “Pros” to this watch, I have yet to find something I can or would want to complain about. I even think the band it comes with is super comfortable. Money well spent.

Better than the Ultra 2 in almost every single way. Switched to this and will never look back. Just added the titanium dlc garmin band and wow…. Apple could never! The soft silicone this band comes with is awesome too btw. MIP display looks brilliant btw. Less techy and more real watchy. Just buy it!!! Flashlight, sleep track, workouts, water proof, satellite maps, music and speakers, voice assistant … has everything you could ever want and this dlc version is indestructible. I have no scratches on face or bezel after 2 months of 23/7 wear
