Excellent product, even better customer service
I’ve had multiple sets of sensors from Onvis and they work perfectly. Installation is easy and connectivity is smooth. The one and only time I had a connection issue with one of them, I contacted customer service and they were very helpful and even offered to replace for a new one. 100% recommend.

Great value for a Thread door/window sensor
I'm thrilled that more vendors are starting to offer Thread/Matter compatible low power devices. This is stimulating price competition, to the benefit of consumers (i.e. you and me). The Onvis Door & Window contact sensor installed on the first try, and works perfectly with my Homekit setup to control a light in a closet. I'll install the second one soon on my crawlspace door to control the light switch that is in an almost unreachable location. I expect it will be as easy as the first.

Perfect Performance (in normal temperatures)
I bought these sensors to add to our mailbox to be alerted when our mail came. I paired it with a smart bulb that turns green when the sensor is opened, and it works perfectly! The only downside is our mailbox is in a room without heating which lead to the battery dying within about a week. I have zero doubt that using the device within the recommended temperature ranges would solve this problem, but it is worth knowing that cold drains these batteries quickly.

Easy to install, but sticky back is not quite strong enough
Seems great and installed on Apple Home just as advertised. The sticky-back material isn't quite strong enough to hold onto our glossy latex door trim, so had to add a stronger double-sided tape. Still seems like a very good product so far. Hopefully the battery will last longer than previous door sensors.

Sensors work well and good customer service
These sensors respond quickly and have a long battery life. They’re easy to add to HomeKit and stick in a variety of applications. When I had an issue, Onvis support was quick to help me resolve it.
