Great Feel, Versatile Functions – A Must-Have Controller!
The media could not be loaded. The Tarantula Pro controller has quickly become my favorite. It has an excellent hand grip and a really solid, comfortable weight that makes long gaming sessions easy and enjoyable. The multiple configuration options and built-in functions are a big plus — it’s super customizable to your play style. So far, I’ve mainly used it with my Nintendo setup and it’s been amazing — responsive, smooth, and just feels great to use. I haven’t tested it on Xbox yet since I need an adapter for that, but for everything else, it’s exceeded expectations. If you're looking for a well-built, feature-rich controller, this one is absolutely worth it!

Manufacturing sucks
So let’s start from the beginning. I bought this controller looking to get a feel for what a lot of people have been talking about. When I got the controller I was amazed how comfortable and sleek the design of the controller was. But I soon ran into problems. I tried connecting to my phone via bluetooth, but it never would get recognized as a controller, so I thought “hey I might need to update this guy”. So I connected the controller to my pc and for some reason it would not update. I looked and saw you needed to have the dongle and controller connected at the same time, ok it was that easy, or so I thought. Then it says “dongle out of date” like what the heck does that mean? I go to reddit and find multiple posts of how these controllers software was really not on par as other controller brands. I look through about 20 reddit posts until I find one with an answer that works. I needed to go to the website and download software for this controller AND the dongle. I updated the dongle, it didn’t want to. I updated the controller, it didn’t want to. I finally found a another post that had specific updates for my exact controller. Finally I could use my controller!! Only to find out that the controller had massive stick drift on the left analog stick. This company’s control quality is wack. I also had problems with controls inverting, for no reason at all. Do not buy this controller and save your money.

Elegant solution to the switch vs Xbox controllers
I love the way it can change from Xbox to switch mode but still works with each in any mode.

Good controller but it could be so much better.
I truly wanted to like this controller after having an overall good experience with GameSir controllers. I will always back the G7 SE/HE and Kaleid controllers- which are controllers I will always recommend first. But this "pro" level controller, the T3 Pro/Tarantula Pro, was a bit underwhelming for me. Right off the bat, you get a sub-par USB cable compared to the ones included with the "entry level" controllers. The Kaleid and the G7 come with thick braided cables, the T3 Pro does not.Personally, I did not like the action button switch mechanism and found it very unnecessary. If the intention was to show that you are using it in Nintendo Switch mode or Xinput mode, then I can see the appeal. There are just other simple ways of doing this, such as a toggle switch. I think most people playing on their console or PC already have a mental map of the controller they are intending to use. Because of this, it made the controller feel less "pro" when paired with membrane buttons. I believe this controller would be ten times better if they integrated tactile buttons instead like the ones used with the directional pad. Another note, the action buttons felt a bit cramped and too close together. The controller uses different types of tactile switches for different parts of the controller so it made the controller feel like it had less "flow." The rear buttons weren't as clicky as the bumpers, and the bumpers were less clicky than the directional and C buttons. And then there's the GameSir logo which contains three additional mapable buttons which feel different than the rest of the controller. Having a lot of mapable buttons is a huge plus, I just didn't like how they felt put together. The mobile app is great and has everything you need to customize the controller. There is a PC app, GameSir Connect, but at the moment it is not in English. If you can't read Chinese, you will have to use a translator app to be able to use it. Hopefully they add this controller to GameSir Nexus, which is the app I use for other GameSir controllers I've owned. One issue I had was with the trigger stops. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or a design issue. I had inconsistent button presses on the left trigger. It would only work if I pressed the button at the correct angle.I won't get into the details about polling rate or button latency- that's where gamepadla comes in.Overall, I'm a bit dissapointed with this controller. No bad feelings towards GameSir and will always consider them as an option in the future. I just think this controller had some design issues.
