Kasa Smart Dimmer Switch HS220, Single Pole, Needs Neutral Wire, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Light Switch Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, UL Certified, No Hub Required, Black

It is almond color which is what I wanted plus it is a single pole wifi switch and these were the other things I wanted. I ordered two. One was defective out of the box. Not a pleasant experience for the defective one but the other worked well and was an easy install. Two things. This must use a neutral so look for your white wires which may be capped together (older dimmer switches sometimes did not use a neutral because houses built before 1985 did not require a neutral for a switch) and thought the line wire is the hot wire...curiously enough the neutral wire keeps electric at the other side of the switch to keep it connected to wifi when the light switch is at the off position. It looks nice, it works, and it works well with Alexa. Setup was easy in the app.

Worked well. Had minor issue with wifi connection in setup, but app/instructions mentioned a resolution which worked and they have functioned perfectly since. Easy to install. Liked the fact I don't have to have another hub/gateway to something this simple to work on an open wireless network.

This product is somewhat unique in that it is light almond, a dummier not a sw, known mfg, it works, and <$20. I don't know another product with all those features, all I need all those features. A couple of issues however. First, you have to use the TPlink app to set it up, not the KASA or Tapo apps. Not a big deal, if you know about it. The main problem is connecting it to your wi-fi (and this is true of all Kasa and Tapo products, (at least the six or so that I have) is that the device wants to use it's own generated wifi signal for setup. I have found this method to be very unreliable ()and I have a lot of experience connecting these type of wifi devices). Like some devices, if you want to connect it to wifi, you have to use the wifi signal it generates itself. I found this method very unreliable, most of the time (and I have of experience with wifi devices). However, unlike others that do this, you can set it up on your local wifi by using Bluebooth where in it connects immediately. Then you can deal with using the TPLink app for set up using your normal wifi. The dimmer itself is very nice with a lot of features like up and down buttons. The light almond color is very nice (white appears awful if you become used to light almond, but once you have light almond you have to stick with it. The main downside is that sometimes light almond color is a little hard to find and the exact color of light almond can vary a little between manufactures, but this is ok).

I had some dimmable dumb LEDs. Todd needed to get smarter and dimmable and this did the job perfectly. It's easy to use. It works with Alexa.

Works great, was easy to install, smooth dimming, and Alexa control is super handy. Set it up once and haven’t had to think about it since. Solid dimmer, would buy again.

Color is black. Good paint job compared to others

This is a great product with really good software that helps you get it set up. I used to automatically turning off my outside lights in the evening. Installation was very clear and easy, and the app made setup fast and easy. I am using Amazon to control

I am a big fan of Kasa series, I have 15+ of them throughout the house. For this one I had to pay a premium price because of the black color option. And it came scratched. The gloss black shows it very well. I returned it.
