Good basic PLA
This is my 4th time buying Kingroon in these bulk packs, and I will be sure to keep doing so. The filament is great, I've had zero clogs on the 30+ rolls printed so far on 3 different printers. The PLA prints well, with a nice, very slightly shiny finish. It does print glossier where it touches the build plate, and under supports when using tree supports, but that's easy to plan for.

Solid bargain filament it does what it is intended for
Initial impressions: This was a great price for a "bulk" filament buy. Rolls are not perfectly rolled but I have not had any binds or issues even when using an AMS unit. My standard for this is lower for single discrete color filaments. It prints less than glossy but not quite "matte" in a faster printer like Bambu Labs X1s, so you might get different results with a slower printer perhaps edging closer to the shine of a PLA basic. It suggests that it is dimensionally accurate and while I did not perform specific tests for that, I can tell you it prints quite rigid and stiff. There are models I print that require two parts to click together typically needing a little material flex to pop them together. This does not budge at all. So if you are looking for rigid which dimensionally accurate parts may demand, this will do it. If you are looking for something that will flex a little, fuggadaboutit. That is a pro or con depending on your use case. I have not done any stress testing but my impression is that it is quite strong and layers adhere well based on the models I have printed so far. Stringing was not evident at all. Bridging was average, not impressive. Those last two observations will depend mostly on your slicer settings and filament profile so your mileage may vary. And to be fully tranparent mine are not dialed in at all and I have only printed a little more than 1 roll of this. Overall, highly recommended for the price. This a working bargain filament, it's not going to give the prettiest color or shine but the prints are clean and strong. It jmhas shown no sign of being brittle. At the price it is hard to beat. Paintability was not tested but it looks like it would do as well as any PLA for printing. I will edit the review if down the road anything radically changes. At this point it is a great basic filament value probably great for printing functional parts/prototyping and adequate for more decorative pieces assuming you are good with the potebtialky flat color/finish or intend to paint.

Great Value and Reliable Performance!
I’m really impressed with this Kingroon PLA filament set. The variety of colors is fantastic—perfect for different projects without needing to buy multiple individual spools. The filament feeds smoothly and consistently, and prints come out clean with good layer adhesion and minimal stringing. I’ve had no clogging or tangling issues so far. The spools are well-packed, and the plastic quality feels solid and not brittle. Overall, this is a great deal for anyone who does a lot of 3D printing or just wants a reliable set of PLA filaments for everyday use. Highly recommend!

Kingroon PLA Filament: Precision and Reliability in Every Print!
The Kingroon PLA 3D Printer Filament has been a game-changer in my 3D printing journey. With its exceptional dimensional accuracy and reliable performance, it's become my go-to filament for a wide range of projects. First and foremost, the accuracy of this filament is truly impressive. The +/- 0.03 mm tolerance ensures that my prints come out exactly as intended, with precise details and clean lines. It's a level of consistency that I've come to rely on for both intricate and functional prints. The 1 kg spool size provides ample filament for extended printing sessions, reducing the need for frequent changes. This is especially valuable for larger projects or when producing multiple prints in a single session. The filament feeds smoothly through my 3D printer, with minimal risk of clogging or jamming. It maintains a consistent diameter, ensuring even extrusion and high-quality prints every time. This reliability has saved me from frustrating print failures and wasted material. The color range available is impressive, offering a wide spectrum of options for creative projects. Whether I'm working on prototypes, artistic pieces, or functional parts, Kingroon provides a palette that allows my imagination to run wild. The spool itself is well-wound and neatly packaged, preventing tangles or knots during printing. This attention to detail in the packaging process is a testament to Kingroon's commitment to quality. In terms of value, the quality-to-price ratio of Kingroon PLA filament is outstanding. It provides professional-grade results at a competitive price point, making it an excellent choice for both hobbyists and professionals alike. In summary, the Kingroon PLA 3D Printer Filament has won me over with its exceptional dimensional accuracy, reliable performance, and wide range of vibrant colors. It's a filament that consistently delivers high-quality prints, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow 3D printing enthusiasts. If you're seeking precision and reliability in your prints, look no further than Kingroon.

Back to the drawing board
This has been my go-to filament for the last few years, but sadly I will have to find another brand. I don't do a ton of printing, so it had probably been over a year since my last purchase. In that time, it seems that they've changed suppliers or something. The product I received was still labeled "Kingroon", but the packaging and spool were totally different than before and even the temperature specification of the filament has changed. This new filament sucks. I had a heck of a time getting it to stick to the bed and it shrinks like crazy. I had a print going with 8mm brim adhesion and before the first layer was even complete, the brim was already peeling away from the bed in three places. I messed with some settings and tried again, this time managing to get a clean first layer down. After a few hours, the print still ended up being a loss. Even with 8mm of brim, the print itself was shrinking so badly that it managed to pull itself away from the bed at the corners (somehow whilst the brim itself was still stuck firmly to the bed). The same sort of thing was also happening up top on the leading edge where all of the corners were shrinking, causing them to warp upwards. I've never seen that before with any filament I've tried. I still had enough of an older roll of Kingroon in a different color that I thought I'd try it on this same print as a comparison just to make sure I wasn't going crazy. So far it is printing flawlessly.

colors aren't especially vibrant, but it prints well.
I used this filament on my newest printer, a Sovol SV08, and on my Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. So far, I've printed three of the four rolls. On my attached picture, you can see a print I did on the X1C with two colors, the blue and white. It came out great. I'm really pleased with how well the printer lays this filament down. However, the colors aren't exactly vibrant. They're all sort of muted and flat looking. The red is somewhere between orange and red. I generally print functional stuff, like tool storage, so the color isn't all that big a deal for me, and for the price, I've been happy with this purchase. Edited 12-31-24. I still like this filament! And, so far I've reordered this 4-pack twice more since the original review. What I said before is still true. And now, I've seen that it seems consistent from one order to the next, which is obviously a good thing. The plastic spools work well in the AMS on my Bambu Labs X1C...some brands come with cardboard spools which require an adaptor, which works, but is an annoyance. One thing I didn't notice on my initial review, however, is that on SOME of these spools, when the filament runs out, the last bit doesn't pull free of the spool. The filament is fed through a small hole in the spool when it's wound at the manufacturer...and the bend in that little bit of filament seems to vary a bit...if it's bent a lot, the filament doesn't pull free when it should. This leaves it stuck, and your machine's filament runout sensor (if it has one) doesn't recognize it as a problem, because the filament that's in there just can't advance any further. I've attached a picture of a roll that's still about half full, and it shows the filament poking through the hole in the center hub of the spool. This one isn't bent very much, and would probably work OK, but others are bent much more, and the bent end essentially 'hooks' the spool. This is easily fixed...a pair of flush cutters (like the ones that come with almost all printers these days) can trim that filament back right up to the hole, as I've shown in the following picture. There's not enough left in the hole to prevent it from being pulled into the extruder. It's something I'll try to remember to check from now on.

I never write reviews for filament and I've been printing for years. I'm impatient so I typically print at the fastest speeds I can, which for context is Ludicrous (166%) on my X1C. Doing so can be really hit or miss depending on the filament, I've gotten PLAs for significantly more than this that come out awful just because of flow issues, nevermind adhesion. Even though this filament is cheap it works without any quality loss at 166% and without any adjustments. Mind you, I always print with the bed at 50C - but I've had to go up to 60 to prevent some more expensive overture stuff from warping/unsticking. Will 100% be back.

Buen filamento color piel
Buen filamento, se imprimio sin problemas en una A1, despues de unos dias lluviosos tuve que meterlo al secador de filamento porque no se guardo (se quedo en la impresora) y quedo muy bien, bonito color.
