for iPhone 12 Mini Screen Replacement 5.4 inch, 3D Touch LCD Display Digitizer Assembly with Repair Tools (Model A2176, A2398,A2399,A2400)

The picture is slightly fuzzy and very dull. The black bars on the top and bottom of the screen are thicker than the original screen. The new screen sticks out further from the phone, meaning more glass is exposed. I an also now having battery problems, though that is likely because of my poor installation skills. I’ve bought cheaper screens for different iPhone models that have better picture quality. Overall it works, but it looks very bad.

Easy install, pretty good quality. I am noticing a slight discoloration about the size of a paperclip near the bottom of the screen when there is a white background. Doesnt seen to affect function though

Installation went pretty well despite the instructions not matching the screen I received. (I found a youtube video that was much clearer.) The very first thing I noticed after turning on the phone was that the screen had a washed out look. Icons were far less saturated. Blacks were not as black. It felt like the backlight was too bright and just washing out the colors. But turning down the backlight just made everything feel too dim. It feels like looking at a screen from about 2010.The other major issue is that my battery life is down to about 2 hours of use before I get the 10% warning. My phone is a 12Mini and the battery is original and the battery life was already on the weak side, but I could easily go a full day without charging with light use. Since installing this screen, I'm charging every 2 hours all day long.Overall disappointed and wishing I had put this money toward a new phone instead.

Screen is not even close to the quality of the original screen. It's darker and not as clear. All my settings are correct.Installation was easy and the instructions were excellent and easy to follow. 3 stars but I guess you get what you pay for. Wonder what screen the ubreakifix places use

It was easy to install because the manual was well explained. The screen is really nice and it comes with a screen protector, which is really nice.

*Will update review if this gets resolved*Quality of replacement and tools is good, BUT I’ve double checked the model and product description and I 100% ordered a screen for the A2176 iPhone 12 Mini. The screen I received works great, color and touch functionality all working. BUT the screen must be for a different model? There’s an additional of small metal tabs, plastic housing around the front camera/light, and about twice the thickness of my original screen. All of these are preventing the replacement from seating on my phone at all. Hope to get this resolved asap.

The screen works great! The only issue I’ve had is it won’t wake up when it’s tapped. Otherwise, it’s been great to have. So glad I didn’t have to buy a whole new phone!

Worked for a few months, and just one day stopped. Black screen. It seemed like good quality, maybe i just got a bad one. But if you have a little more money to spend, maybe put it towards a better rated product
